A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Thanks, Mixer!
1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

I know what that means....a long snout or nose!!! (okay...shucks I looked it up). Hoping that maybe I'll take this word to my 8:00 a.m. class tomorrow (WHEN I SHOULD BE SLEEPING) and the teacher will challange the word....look it up...realize I'm a genius and graduate me so I can return to the lifesyle that I've become accustom. (sleeping all day)
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely, (if the ploy works...it's back to Love,)

One lad raised his hand and said, "Yes, but in those days there were only 13.
Cute. You always bring a smile at the Finest!

Hi Lib. Have you recooperated from you big family croquet tournamnet food fest??? Enjoyed the after action report...sad when you see the "elders" getting older and not doing as well...we're going through that too. But it is so neat to keep the traditions alive and have all the generations involved.
To: dutchess
Your welcome. I'm glad you liked it.

Hi Gizmo! As a dog I'm sure you can appreciate the value of a good proboscis.
Good luck at spelling school. You might want to start with "challange."
Say hi to dutchess for me :-)

Serious Math Problem
Little Zachary, a Jewish kid, was doing very badly in math. His parents had tried everything: tutors, mentors, flash cards, special learning centers; in short, verything they could think of to help his math.
Finally, in a last ditch effort, they took Zachary down and enrolled him in the local Catholic school. After the first day, little Zachary came home with a very serious look on his face. He didn't even kiss his mother hello.
Instead, he went straight to his room and started studying. Books and papers were spread out all over the room and little Zachary was hard at work. His mother was amazed. She called him down to dinner. To her shock,
the minute he was done, he marched back to his room without a word, and in no time, he was back hitting the books as hard as before. This went on for some time, day after day, while the mother tried to understand what made
all the difference. Finally, little Zachary brought home his report card. He quietly laid it on the table, went up to his room and hit the books. With great trepidation, his Mom looked at it and to her great surprise, little
Zachary got an "A" in math. She could no longer hold her curiosity. She went to his room and said, "Son, what was it? Was it the nuns?" Little Zachary
looked at her and shook his head, no. "Well, then," she replied, was it the books, the discipline, the structure, the uniforms? WHAT WAS IT?"
Little Zachary looked at her and said, "Well, on the first day of school when I saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I knew they weren't fooling around."
