Sick 'baptism' before abortions

US abortionists are adopting a disturbing new tactic of promoting a 'baptism'' type ceremony for the aborted baby.
According a report in an American magazine, the new methods involve the use of language more commonly found in counselling for post-abortion syndrome as well as a ritual including a kind of baptism of the aborted baby.
Before the abortion, women are encouraged to express guilt, to write notes to their children about their feelings of empowerment, to grieve and express love for the child.
But US pro-life groups have reacted with disgust to the tactics and a spokesperson for the Campaign Life Catholic roundly condemned the strategy. 'This is the most diabolical twist to the abortion industry so far,' said the spokesperson. 'To use and deform the conscience, even invoking God's forgiveness for unrepented acts of murder, in order to sell their murderous service is a horrific violation of the women who go to them in trust.'

I agree that this smacks of the ONION as the American magazine. Let's not rush off like lemmings until we find out if this "report" is true.
If it is, there will be plenty of time in the next decade to revile it.

"The program offers individual counseling, group counseling and the celebration of spiritual sacraments such as baptism of the still born fetus and blessings for the aborted fetus."Thanks for the confirmation. This IS beyond horrible and I know I'm going to be sick...

Agreed. Why would they want to do anything like that because that would absolutely destroy their claim that the unborn child was anythiing but ha tiny human being. This story smells like it was written near the cattle pens.

Contracting to murder ones own children is the ultimate act of feminism since its an act that goes against every instinct in a women. Thus its an act against God who cursed them with the responsibilities of their gender.
Proper burial then, would demonstrate full acceptance for what they had done, rather than hide behind timid rhetoric about fetus and what not.

The very CORE of liberalsim is to make people think that they are not responsible for their own actions vs. the conservative/Christian/Jewish teachings that ALL of us are ultimatley responsible for them, i.e. liberalism is of Satan and is evil.

I seem to remember something being posted along these lines being posted here in the past month or so.
Unfortunately I don't think I replied and I can't find it now but there was a lot more details and it might have been the article refered to here.

Seems this would be counter-productive to those who earn their living killing babies. Is this for real? Might be an experiment, but it'll never go anywhere.

"baptism of the still born fetus and blessings for the aborted fetus."
I'd have to ask them, what's the point of all this if it's not a human being?

Yes, a very evil man. He performs a rather large number of late term abortions (about 8 a month was the last figures I read).
If he could, I imagine he'd be chasing women down hospital corridors as they were being taken to the birthing room, begging to kill their babies.
He is as evil as Saddam Hussein - he just never had the opportunity to be the dictator of a country.

Ya know, when it comes to curses, I think we women got the better end of the deal. :)

Brent Bozell
here In the September issue of Glamour magazine (circulation: almost 3 million, many of them teenage girls), actress Holly Robinson Peete gives this advice to the single girl: "You are in a blissful stage. Really enjoy yourself right now because it does change. I want you to have a lot of sex and get a lot of sleep."
But that's not the worst of it. This edition of Glamour also contains advice if that sex goes wrong and she accidentally becomes pregnant. It is, incredibly, this: You can not only get an abortion, but you can feel good about yourself while you do it. A group of abortion clinic operators calling themselves the "November Gang" is encouraging their customers to write little valentines on pink paper hearts to the babies they've killed.
Glamour finds it "poignant" that one woman wrote to her victim: "To my little angel, Please understand that you are better off in the hands of God than mine at this moment." (This is hard to debate.) "I smile when I think of you, even if I cry. You have given me reason to be strong and wise and responsible. You will always be my baby. I will see you in heaven, sweetheart. Love you! Love always and unconditionally, your mommy."
The hearts are posted in one Pittsburgh clinic, "rows and rows of them taped to the walls." Some are more fist-pumping feminist notes, such as: "Women: this is your life and your body. What you think is right ... Is! ... And if you think this is a 'sin,' remember, God forgives!" Glamour reported that counselors push this notion hard to the more religious girls. When one girl says she goes to church every Sunday, the counselor asks, "Do you think there are any things God considers completely unforgivable?" The clinics also invite more religious girls to "pray over their fetuses, even to sprinkle them with holy water in impromptu baptismal rites."
