Find Out Where Your Fat Is with New Scanner

You could soon go to the gym, step in front of a scanner and find out exactly where the fat needs to come off. All you have to do is stand still for 30 seconds as the machine measures your body fat. It will tell you where you need to lose weight and even suggest the best exercises.
The scanner works by simultaneously building up a 3-D image of the body while measuring the body's effect on an electromagnetic field.
"The smart thing is that we've put them in one machine," Henri Tapp at the Institute of Food Research in Norwich, eastern England, told New Scientist magazine.
The scanner could also monitor fat development in children, pregnant women and patients recovering from injury. As it uses radio waves rather than X-rays, repeated use is quite safe.
It could also be used for preventive care as body shape is known to be a risk indicator for heart disease and diabetes.

LOL...I don't need a fat scanner to determine where and what needs to come off.

This thing won't detect fat on liberals unless it's powerful enough to scan through skulls.

(I prefer to say I camouflage my assets. I've got it -- in there somewhere! I just don't feel comfy flaunting it.) ;)

All the physical training experts I have ever known have stated clearly that spot-training fat away won't work. It's useless to have this machine recommend certain exercises to you -- if someone is trying to lose fat, they should walk, run or engage other cardiovascular activity several times a week for a half hour or so. Exercising certain body parts will not get the fat off those body parts.

All the physical training experts I have ever known have stated clearly that spot-training fat away won't work. I can vouch for this from personal experience. The one thing that spot training will do though is increase muscle mass in the exercised area and make the fat less noticeable.
I eventually got rid of my love handles by reducing (not eliminating) carb intake and doing more cardio.

all I do is look down and see how much of my feet is visible. Glance to my side see if I could see my hips... Look over my shoulder and see if my bum is leaving any tracks in the asphalt

People who need a scanner to tell them where the fat is are not fat enough to worry about it!

I do not have a gut problem.
