Come disrupt the annual Freeper Rally in Fresno Sept. 12th $ 13th 2003

posted by Freepwatch Network on Sunday August 31 2003 @ 10:57PM PDT

Going to miss the WTO in Cancun? Here's an alternative event author: Freepwatch Network Annual Freeper Rally/Gathering in Fresno Sept. 12th & 13th 2003 If you are going to miss the WTO ministorial in Cancun here is an alternative: Lets counter the counter-protesters. We already have many people committed to attending and disrupting the Freeper annual picnic thrown by www.Freerepublic owner Jim Robinson. We are hoping to see as many people as possible show up to disrupt their little gathering. Should be a lot of fun.

The Fresno chapter of www.freerepublic.com members is throwing their annual picnic sept. 13th and 14th in Fresno. The Freerepublic network is based in and operates out of Fresno, under the control of owner Jim Robinson. The Freerepublic is the largest, busiest, and most widely read political forum in the world, with around 100,000 members. Membership is comprised largely of right wing GOP and other militant right-wingers. DO NOT underestimate the power of the Freerepublic. It is a major organizing tool of the GOP party and right-wing thought throughout the US and overseas.

Freerepublic members are anti-gay, anti-immigrant, anti-peace and justice, and anti-environmental. These are the people who organize counter-protests throughout the country to many progressive causes, including anti-war protests of the past two years.

Freepwatch suggests activists register an account at www.FreeRepublic.com and actively disrupt the website. Disruption of the FreeRepublic network will help to stop their GOP fundraising and Republican organizing for the 2004 election. Show no mercy.

Here is an announcment posted by Jim Robinson himself regarding the annual Rally and picnic. More information on this event will be posted soon.

LET'S BE THERE IN NUMBERS!

Announcing the 2nd annual tailgate and rally-sept. 12th and 13th

The Fresno/Central Valley Chapter cordially invites one and all to our second annual Fresno Tailgate and Rally on Friday and Saturday, September 12th and 13th, 2003.

Our rally will begin at 5:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm Friday night, at the corner of Blackstone and Shaw in Fresno. Afterwards, the group will retire for dinner and refreshments at the nearby Ramada Inn.

Our tailgate pot-luck picnic will be at Woodward Park on Saturday, September 13th. We have the Mountain View Picnic Area from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

The entrance to Woodward Park is on Audubon Drive, just off Freeway 41 on the northern edge of Fresno. The Mountain View Pinic Shelter is near the center of the park and is the second parking lot on the left from the Audubon entrance. Bring your flags, banners, signs, family and children. Prepare to support your country and enjoy the company of your good FReeper friends!

Sure do wish I could be there. Have a great time and be sure to stock up on videotape, batteries, film, disks, etc. We'll be looking forward to hearing (as they say in small town newspapers) "and a good time was had by all"! Be safe.

The easiest way to tell who they are if they try to come icognito, is to ask every one to pray. The leftists can't handle the mention of God. I think if you all joined hands and went around the circle with every one stating one reason they thank God Al Gore lost the last election, some of them might just burst into flames right then and there.

Morning, Jumper. I had never heard of their site before, but I followed the link and read the entire exchange between two very literate and well-reasoned FReepers and the little anarchists. They sound like middleschoolers. Bet many of them are, and the rest adults with arrested development. They absolutely froth are at the mouth if you call them liberals, but if you check out the anarchy action area, it is them and socialists, them and communists...even going so far as to say they would crush 10 million people, like their "comrrades" before them - if anyone dare try to stop their "dream of utopia." Take out the spanking stick for some, and the straightjackets for others.

You know, it's one thing to protest a protest, but Freepers are meeting as a group for a PICNIC, for crying out loud! What kind of losers have no life that they would even think to disrupt a PICNIC? Someone bring a big boom box and play some Steven Curtis Chapman music (especially LIVE OUT LOUD from his Declaration cd!)

Not to worry Princess Leah, keep planning your party, a few losers might walk by, but the park security will be watching with great interest. These are most likely teenegers with extra angst. They'll come out of it on the other side of puberty. ;)

my grandfather was a Democratic Senator from Wisconsin under FDR . . .

. . . One of the greatest joys in life for me now is to continually torture my liberal family in all ways possible. I send them National Review subscriptions for every major holiday and sign all notes with Proud member of the VRWC. Such fun.

There's one recovering liberals story.

By rights this should be the start of a new (and righteous, dude!) thread.

So, if they show up and don't obey the rules, we ping the admin mod. If they don't cross the line, we just ignore them. It worked when Jeb Bush was running for re-election. We prevailed here and at the voting booth. floriduh voter

Invitation to all freepers to check out the Terri Schiavo Call to Action thread. She is a disabled Floridian and Florida's judiciary has ordered her starvation. She is not comatose or in a persistant vegetative state. We need emails and phone calls going to big wigs that we have on that thread. I don't have the link. Please take the time to do a FR search under Terri Schiavo. It's there. The thread also shows up on a google search.

IT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO TAKE THIS DISABLED WOMAN'S LIFE (and that ain't all). People who like to do intel and research, come on over. floriduh voter

I should mention here that the Terri Schiavo thread got hit last night. Someone posted an extremely obscene pic...but Admin responded with lightning speed.

They can simper and whine all they want, but to do something like that on a thread about a poor woman about to be killed it just sooooo low.

I went looking around at that yucky-place last night -- you know, where DUmmys hang out. I had to shower 2 or 3 times before I felt clean, but I just wanted to see what they had to say about Terri Schiavo's situation. There were 3 posts on how sad it was. That was it. Apathy reigns.

If euthanasia and other pro-life issues are of concern to you, please visit the Terri Schiavo call to Action thread.

Have a great day, ya'll.

I live in Fresno and would love to attend. But I have to work both days. As far as these Hippies, or Peace nics, or what ever they call themselves (touble makers comes to my mind) I would not worry too much about them. I do not think any of them will show up much less have the nerve to start any trouble.

2. Why are we conservatives always described like barbarians and the DUmmies always portray themselves as sophisticated "progressive" people?

Because they're bigots.

They are going to protest a picnic?

They're looking to do more than protest. They're looking to do acts of violence it seems to me.:

I hope you're prepared for this. (notifying the police ahead of time that you might be expecting some trouble, and having those police officers around within arms reach would help)
