Freepers call to action re. Terri Schindler-Schiavo. Make a complaint against Judge Greer:

Freepers, we may be able to help Terri:

I made some phone calls today and have the ULTIMATE PHONE CALL for registering a Complaint against Judge Greer. I can't reveal my sources but this is the phone number for a few pay grades above J. Greer.

Call the: Judicial Qualifications Commission at

#1-850-488-1581. I am complaining to them tomorrow that J. Greer isn't God, that he's been in the husband's corner since Day One, he doesn't care a wit about Terri's parents or her husband's attempt at medical neglect, and I'd like to know if Greer can be recalled or impeached.

HE SHOULD HAVE OR COULD HAVE HONORED GOV. BUSH'S REQUEST TO ASSIGN A GUARDIAN AD LITEM to represent Terri's interest instead of once again, taking the side of the husband. Judge Greer is from the Sixth Circuit Court, Pinellas County.

Oh, and ping everybody you can think of.

From summer:

"..do a separate thread asking people to call this phone number FV provided. This could get a guardian appointed if the judge is tossed off the case for BIAS."

8 Jeb Bush intervenes for Schindler-Schiavo -   WND | 8/26

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has asked a judge to delay setting a date for removal of a feeding tube sustaining the life of a brain-disabled woman, Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

In a letter, Bush asked Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge George W. Greer yesterday to keep her alive until a court-appointed guardian can "independently investigate the circumstances of this case and provide the court with an unbiased view that considers the best interests of Mrs. Schiavo."

(WND article excerpts, cont.:) "On Friday, the Florida Supreme Court refused to intervene in the case, clearing the way for a Sept. 11 hearing in which Greer would set a date for removal of the feeding tube.

Terri's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler of Gulf Port, Fla., have been locked in a decade-long legal battle with their son-in-law over the care and custody of their daughter, who suffered massive brain damage when she collapsed at her home 13 years ago under unexplained circumstances at the age of 26.

***The bitter dispute over Terri's lack of care became a major euthanasia battle five years ago when her husband Michael Schiavo petitioned the court for permission to have her feeding tube removed, claiming she is in a persistent vegetative state and would not want to be kept alive "artificially." The Schindlers and a number of doctors and therapists believe she could be rehabilitated, but the courts have consistently sided with Schiavo and his lawyer, right-to-die advocate George Felos.

Florida Judge Rejects Governor's Bid to Help Terri Schiavo
By Jeff Johnson
CNSNews.com Congressional Bureau Chief
August 27, 2003

Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com) - Florida Circuit Judge George Greer Tuesday rejected a plea from Governor Jeb Bush to appoint a guardian ad litem to represent the best interests of Terri Schindler Schiavo, a 39-year-old disabled woman who suffered a brain injury in 1990 under questionable circumstances. Bush had intervened Monday after receiving 27,000 email messages asking for his help on Terri's behalf.

"I read [Gov. Bush's letter] because it came from the governor and I respect his position," Greer told the Tampa Tribune. "Beyond that, it is going in the file."

As CNSNews.com previously reported, Bush wrote Greer Monday asking him not to remove the disabled woman's feeding tube until a new guardian ad litem could "independently investigate" her condition. In the letter, Bush referenced the "fine balance between Mrs. Schiavo's right to privacy and her right to life," which Bush noted are co-equal under the Constitution.

"To err on one side is to prolong her existence, perhaps against her wishes and to continue the debate," Bush wrote. "To err on the other is an irrevocable act that affords no remediation."

But Greer told the Associated Press that he no longer has a choice in the matter.

"Frankly, I think I'm operating under a mandate from the 2nd District Court of Appeals," Greer said, "and frankly I don't think I can stray from that mandate."

In that same interview, however, the judge contradicted his own assessment of the limitation on his authority by stating that he was "not inclined" to appoint a guardian ad litem.

Michael Schiavo called Gov. Bush's intervention on behalf of Terri "crazy."

"The governor has deliberately twisted the facts in this case in an apparent effort to kowtow to his right-to-life political supporters," Schiavo told Tampa Tribune reporter David Sommer. "This has nothing to do with him. He should stay out of it."

Schiavo - who, for five years, has been seeking judicial approval to end his wife's life by denying her nutrition and hydration - also accused Terri's parents of manipulating their Catholic faith to keep their daughter alive.

"I believe in God and so did (?) Terri," Schiavo said, speaking of his still living wife in the past tense, "but they are out to push it on people... suddenly they are on a religious kick."

Judge refuses motion for hearing to set 'death date'

Greer also denied a motion Tuesday to hold an immediate hearing to set a date for the removal of Terri's nutrition and hydration tube. The hearing will be held, as previously announced, on Sept. 11. At that hearing, Greer will also rule on whether Schiavo may legally prohibit Terri's priest from visiting her.

Schiavo's attorney, George Felos, had also petitioned the court Monday to prohibit doctors from caring for Terri's current fever, labored breathing, vomiting, diarrhea and a "substantial infection."

"Given the imminence of the ward's death, further treatment (other than comfort care) for the ward's infection and other medical problems is unnecessary, unwarranted, inappropriate and futile," Felos said in an emergency motion, adding that Terri, "should be put back in hospice and receive comfort care and die in a peaceful setting."

Greer denied that motion, as well.

Michael Schiavo is using "privacy" as an excuse for denying Terri every contact from the outside world, even flowers. "One sign of the case's nastiness is the Schindlers' complaint that Schiavo limits their visits with their daughter. They also say he has refused to allow doctors to examine her, refused her antibiotics and needed dental work, refused to replace a broken wheelchair so she could be taken outdoors and refused the delivery of flowers from a friend to her room on her birthday."

"Her teeth are fine; she doesn't eat," Michael Schiavo said. "Why take her to a gynecologist? She was supposed to die months ago. I don't want her room filled with flowers from strangers or right-to-life activists. Even though she is vegetative she has a right to privacy."

I thought Gov Bush very eloquently made his case here, in this part:

To err on one side is to prolong her existence, perhaps against her wishes, and continue the debate. To err on the other is an irrevocable act that affords no remediation.

That is one thing that floors me .. This Judge should have long ago appointed an independent Guardian Ad Litem and not left her husband as her sole guardian .. especially since there are questions about her husband with abuse and the fractured bones that were reveled in xrays of Terry.

Everything I have read .. this Judge seems hell bent on having her killed

I know that Mr. Schiavo has tried to ban Terri's mother and family and priest from seeing her.

But, I don't know how a court could prevent doctors from ordering therapy, speach therapy (which is often actually swallowing therapy) and most especially oral nutrition.

Judge Greer has been with the husband since day one. A guardian ad litem would have been fair for Terri and her parents. Her parents love her but they are treated as the enemy. I'm ashamed this is happening in Pinellas County.

Judge Greer will not appoint a guardian ad litem. I have phone numbers from the phone book for the Clearwater Courthouse and all the guardianship phone numbers. He husband held a presser today and was very flippant about Jeb's letter and called the emailers a "bunch of right to lifers."

Hubby is looking a little nervous but with a pal like Judge Greer who is no Judge Moore, Terri has until the September 11 hearing to decide the date her starvation begins.

Here are the phone numbers: courthouse - 727-464-3000, guardianship numbers: 727-582-7563, 727-582-7771, and 727-464-8700. We can at least call as friends of Terri and voice our concerns.

Berlin, 1 September 1939

Reichsleiter Bouhler and Dr. med. Brandt are instructed to broaden the powers of physicians designated by name, who will decide whether those who have - as far as can be humanly determined - incurable illnesses can, after the most careful evaluation, be granted a mercy death.

And this excerpt from a great article. Link is below text.

The Nazi Doctors was published in 1986 by Basic Books. He's written a number of books. He says in the introduction of the book, "My goal in this study is to uncover psychological conditions conducive to evil." (p. 12) Then he says a couple of pages later, "My argument in this study is that the medicalization of killing--the imagery of killing in the name of healing--was crucial to that terrible step. At the heart of the Nazi enterprise, then, is the destruction of the boundary between healing and killing." (p. 14) Now this quote needs to be repeated. Here is his main thesis after all of this study from 1979 to 1986, seven years of traveling all over the world interviewing doctors that were part of the process and also those who were victims of the process. His goal is to show the psychological conditions that are conducive to evil. His thesis is that "the medicalization of killing--the imagery of killing in the name of healing--was crucial to that terrible step. At the heart of the Nazi enterprise, then, is the destruction of the boundary between healing and killing." He calls it " killing as a therapeutic imperative ." [Emphasis in the original] (p. 15) He then goes on to say that "This reversal of healing and killing became an organizing principle of the work, and I came to suspect the relevance of that reversal for other genocidal projects." (p. xii-xiii) Right at the heart was a reversal of killing as killing, to killing as healing.

Now on February 14, 1992 I watched "20/20" on ABC. Dr. Kervorkian was being interviewed. Dr. Kervorkian, "Dr. Death", "Jack the Dripper", you know who he is. When he was asked about why he did this he made this very telling comment. He said, "A doctor is a servant and I'm here to serve the needs of the patient." What's curious about this remark is that traditionally doctors have been healers, care-givers. Their role has been defined in terms of giving life to their patients. When patient's needs were considered, the chief need of the patient was to stay alive. When a doctor says do what I tell you. I'm concerned with your needs. What he's saying is do what I'm telling you because I'm trying to keep you alive and that which I direct you to do will promote health. Doctors are there to keep people alive, to give care, to promote health. "Needs" used to mean saving their life. Dr. Kervorkian says that meeting a patient's needs is killing them. Dr. Kervorkian is saying that sometimes, using Robert Lifton's words, sometimes killing is a therapeutic imperative. Dr. Kervorkian has redefined what the role of doctors and the role they play in our society.

To put it simply, Lifton's goal was to discover what psychological changes or ways of thinking would ultimately result in indescribable evil. His answer was that one of the things that could cause that was turning to killing as a therapeutic imperative, thus erasing the distinction between healing and killing.

If one is encouraged, Lifton argues, to see killing as healing of any kind, whether it be a type of individual healing, a type of social healing, or a type of cultural cleansing, then you are on the threshold of indescribable evil.

Furthermore, this evil has the capability of incredibly sublime rationalization. Lifton notes the recollection of survivor physician Dr. Ella Lingens-Reiner, who pointed to the chimneys in the distance and asked a Nazi doctor, Fritz Klein, "How can you reconcile that with your Hippocratic Oath as a doctor?" He answered, "Of course, I am a doctor and I want to preserve life. And out of respect for human life, I would remove a gangrenous appendix from a diseased body. The Jew is the gangrenous appendix in the body of mankind." (p. 16)

Listen very carefully to what this man has said. He said that he killed Jews out of respect for human life. The tragic thing is that he really believed that he was respecting life by killing Jews. Tell me, how is that different from the rhetoric of the euthanasia issue now? We kill out of so-called respect for life.

It's no accident that the medical profession played a crucial role then and is playing a crucial role now in this shift, in this rationalization, in this destruction of the boundary between killing and healing. Doctors were the obvious choice of a profession to use to propel this transition of thinking from killing as killing, to killing as healing. Lifton notes, "It is they who work at the border of life and death, who are most associated with the awesome, death-defying, and sometimes death-dealing aura of the primitive shaman and medicine man. As bearers of this shamanistic legacy and contemporary practitioners of mysterious healing arts, it is they [the doctors] who are likely to be called upon to become biological activists." (p. 17) So even in our culture we are using doctors and the "aura of this shamanistic legacy, these awesome death-defying, and sometimes death-dealing" individuals. We are using them as biological activists.

One last observation about this whole process. Lifton identifies the sequence that led to this shift in thinking about human beings. The sequence has five steps:

coercive sterilization
killing "impaired" children
killing "impaired" adults
killing "impaired" inmates of concentration camps [notice how the numbers of people qualifying for death is broadening]
mass extermination, mostly of Jews

Lifton observes that "sterilization doctrine...set the tone for the regime's medicalized approach to 'life unworthy of life.'" (p. 25)
Now I don't believe that we are following the same sequence that he identifies here because coercive sterilization does not happen in this country. Some of you may be saying that if I'm suggesting a slippery slope to the same kind of thing, logically thinking the mass extermination of people here, then why aren't we seeing that same sequence of events happening in our culture? My point is we are in fact seeing that, but we don't see it being initiated by coercive sterilization.

Lifton's point was that sterilization was a practice that set the tone for the medical approach to dealing with life that is considered unworthy of life. We don't have sterilization here, but we have something else that fits the bill, that was the first step of this whole series of events that we see in process right now. It wasn't sterilization in our country, it was abortion.

Abortion seems to fulfill the same function as coercive sterilization did but for slightly different reasons. Just as sterilization was viewed as a healing act, abortions are considered "therapeutic." Abortion is different in that it is not meant to cull out the genetically undesirable, but rather the merely unwanted. Even so, both seem to be the first step that lay the philosophic foundation for the steps that follow. For the Nazis, it was sterilization that was the first step that led to killing impaired children and then killing impaired adults. In our culture, abortion has served that function because clearly since 1973 we have moved towards the unofficial, though widespread, killing of impaired children and now the attempt to legalize the killing of impaired adults, though unofficially that is going on (Dr. Death).

UNLESS WE PUT MEDICAL FREEDOM INTO THE CONSTITUTION, THE TIME WILL COME WHEN MEDICINE WILL ORGANIZE INTO AN UNDERCOVER DICTATORSHIP

He was a very wise man. That said, it is the populace which must also accept the culture for it to flourish.

from your linked article:

"In the U.S.A. in 1968 a voluntary euthanasia bill was introduced in Florida and an eminent surgeon and member of the American Medical Association - AMA - argued the case for it:"

FLORIDA!!

And this from the proposed bill:

"Section 4. If any person is disabled and there is no kinship as provided in section 3, death with dignity shall be granted any person if in the opinion of three (3) physicians the prolongation of life is meaningless"

There's that "death with dignity" again! And LET THE DOCTORS DECIDE when life is "meaningless" !!

"Fortunately this bill was not passed, and so far the AMA has been silent on the whole issue, but judging by the silence with which the German atrocities were met I can safety predict that the AMA will soon be unofficially espousing the cause of voluntary euthanasia."

I'm reminded once again of this quote by G.K.Chesterton:

"When men cease to believe in God, they do not believe in nothing; they believe in anything!"

Yes Kimmie. You are becoming most wise. :-)

They say those living wills pretty much mean you can be killed no matter what you put down, and are not all that accurate. What I really found chilling awhile back was a new community event, gaining popularity with hospitals in Minnesota. They were offering "Living Will days" with free food to the public. They supplied the paperwork, the public signed.
Does that give you the creeps or what?

Also you do know that Hennepin County, Minnesota is prime real estate for the "right-to-killers" and also the home place for the good doctor, Cranford, or very close to his home.

All Christians should really evacuate some parts of this country for their own good, and this is one part I wouldn't drive through. Also Florida. :-)

Anyway, like with Jason Childress, it won't matter soon. Hospitals are starting to set their own policies about who they will and will not treat. Futile care policies will make legal battles like this one for Terri's life a thing of the past, and I think it will happen sooner than we think. Jason has already been labeled untreatable for even a minor infection. We don't do any rehab anymore for brain damaged people. We just warehouse them.

Diabetics cannot be far behind with an incurable disease. Or cripples, like my daughter, whose surgeon at Childrens two years ago let us know loud and clear, his beliefs on the *futility* of doing surgery on her ankles, as in my post above.

You see the trends everywhere if you look.

"I have alerted many media who have said they have been overruled about talking about it. Why is that?"

Note also the inclusion of the name Julian Huxley, communist and first Director-General of UNESCO (at link 5,077). My computer now has 41 windows and I can't pull up any more, but just google Julian Huxley UNESCO to learn more, if you need to. UNESCO stands for United Nations Educational (BRAINWASHING), Scientific, and Cultural(i.e., landgrabs via historical and cultural sites, etc.) Organization. One of their major landgrab plans is The Wildlands Project, which you probably know, intends to return at least 50 percent (conservative from what I've seen) of this country back to its pre-Columbus state ( http://www.wildlandsprojectrevealed.org ). I told one of my neighbors about this last weekend. She wanted to know where they would put all the people. Here's the answer. I think the plan is to cull the herd down to about 1 to 2 billion people. Some like Yoko Ono, would like to see it cut further, to about 300,000 to 500,000, I believe was her estimate (see the Georgia Guidestones. It's all so demonic).

BTW, speaking of brainwashing, people might be interested in reading this from the Committe on Un-American Activities 1958 (brainwashing is the job of the apostate churches, public schools, museums, such as, and in particular, the Smithsonian, and the media. I may have left someone out.):

The thick smoke from the incinerator was said to be visible every day over Hadamar (where, in midsummer 1941, the staff celebrated the cremation of their 10,000th patient with beer and wine served in the crematorium)." I thought I would get physically ill when I read that.

Yes, the trends are obvious. But I REFUSE to give up! Granted, if things get as bad as I think they will, maybe Texas will secede from the Union (they're the only state with right of seccession, aren't they???) and I'll become a Texan. I'll just cross enemy lines long enough to fight.

"When men cease to believe in God, they do not believe in nothing; they believe in anything!"

It's probably going to get worse before it gets better, but we know who wins in the end. But there IS strength in numbers, and when God's people really begin to act like God's people, I believe we'll 'hear The Lion roar'!

Of course. It worked for Roe, so it'll help us kill granny or your disabled child. Chilling, no?

Hello! Could you ping your list to this quote? Truly, research is showing that the pro-aborts are trying to slip euthanasia in under the same banner as Roe.

Sliding further down the slippery slope.....

Thanks!
