I just think it would be nice to have rallies in more cities than where she is.
What do you think?

Great idea! Be sure to have links to www.terrisfight.org
visible. Any massive actions such as you speak would be appreciated I am sure.

Rooker-Feldman does not apply since none of the issues brought up in the Federal case were litigated at state level.
Fay
Did the judge choose the case it needed to apply under?

I hope to bring Terri's fight to the attention of as many people as I can.
------
A geometrical progression in getting attention on everyone's part would be nice. Get on to yahoogroups and find the groups with lots of members and post a link to www.terrisfight.org, etc. be creative. Another place that has usenet groups is Google. Call your reps, send letters, tell your friends and associates, ask them to pass the information on, to act, etc. This way we will have a geometrical progression.

STILL URGING EVERYONE TO CALL GOVERNOR BUSH. Contact info is at #1753.
-----
Just be sure when you call that when you get to the right person it's about convening an emergency legistative session.. not intervention because they will say he already wrote a letter and was denied. etc. The emergency legistlative session is under his power.

I'm sure some people are on "the cutting edge" of a trend like that. Somehow they will make money off of it.
They've probably already invested heavily in the manufacturers of the technological equipment and medical supplies that are needed for organ donation.
Say... that Florida Suncoast hospice "software" could be used to alert "interested parties" to pre-scheduled food tube removals. The ETD (Estimated Time of Death) could be determined statistically, I guess.
I posted my disappointment, that there seems to be no Sunday Morning media interest in Terri, over at the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread 7 Sep 2003

(Why does Schumer think it's okay for HIM to put duty to God first, but it's not okay for others?)
To: kimmie7
When a method for removal from office is not otherwise provided by the State Constitution or by law, the Governor may by executive order suspend from office an elected or appointed public official, by whatever title known, Wow!! Beautiful work, Kimmie!! (I think you said above that you like to make things beautiful, and this certainly qualifies.)
At least one of the Bush brothers should get to have some say in who gets to serve on the bench.
If Jeb Bush doesn't do this (if it is necessary), many of us will be very disappointed.

(Jeb Bush HAS the power to remove Judge George W. Greer from his Florida Bench.Pray for Terri Schiavo)
To: MHGinTN
Of course you are right, MGH, about liberals wanting the power of the state exclusively to themselves. They would also, like Adolph Hitler, whom they profess to abhor, want to see a "useless eater" like poor Terri exterminated.
Maybe Michael Schiavo has the wrong second woman. He should contact the wife of the late Hugh Finn. Now those two would really head it off!

Are you saying that KY has stronger restrictions on euthanasia than FL or VA?
To: syriacus
You mean Jeb Bush can suspend George Greer but he is too fearful to do so or what?
To: Theodore R.
I wonder if he's waiting until the final hour.

One poster said that Governor Bush will not intervene because when former VA Governor Gilmore (former RNC chairman) intervened in the Finn case, he was struck with an expensive lawsuit from the "wife" of Hugh Finn.

"I'm following the rule of law, not public pressure."That's what I have been afraid of all along...I have new writings from both Wesley and Nancy to share if anyone is interested. They both must have emailed me very early this morning.
To: floriduh voter
I feel somewhat melodramatic when I'm not quite awake. No, you are right on the money - the feeding tube presence is a huge part of it. Once it is in, proceedings can begin.
As I said, a lot of these people were eating - Christine, Nancy, even with the feeding tube, but because it was being used, it did not matter if they could eat.
To: Theodore R.
Are you saying that KY has stronger restrictions on euthanasia than FL or VA?Well I am new to the legalese here and still trying to figure it out. But yes, in different states, different supreme courts have ruled differently and there do seem to be different laws on the books. Colorado is one of the worst to be brain-damaged in, depending on your family. Cranford said Missouri was very backward about the issue.
Michele Finn moved her husband from kentucky to virginia in order to have him killed, and Christine Busalacchi's father was in the process of moving her from Missouri to Minnesota in order to have her killed.
To: All
Nancy sent me the link to this -
euthanasia
And she said in her email that the Patient Self Determination Act, which was not voted on, but went through in some budget thing, meant that "clear and convincing evidence" was no longer needed, as it had been in the Cruzan case, which she thinks spurred the Act, at the federal level. We've all, unfortunately, been mostly asleep at the wheel and the rest of the world still is asleep at the wheel.
Our only hope longterm in fighting this is the legislature, and Terri doesn't have that time. I am praying for her attorneys though.
With God all things are possible
I'll take some info to church this morning, but Lord, the hour is late, and none of these people have even heard about all this stuff.
