Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will be in the Finger Lakes area today and has stops planned in Ithaca, Aurora and Seneca Falls. Her schedule follows:
11:50 a.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension office in Ithaca, where she will be joined by leaders from agriculture and business to discuss collaborations for the creation of economic development opportunities for New York farmers and businesses.
3 p.m. at Wells College in Aurora, where she will address the students and faculty on the lawn of Macmillan Hall. Her speech is open to the public.
4:40 p.m. at the Women's Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, where she's scheduled to meet with its board members to discuss the hall's accomplishments and plans for the future.

As usual, the Hildebeast chooses her upstate locations carefully, in order the minimizes her chances of being confronted by the generally conservative population of upstate New York.
In Seneca Falls, she is going to "the birthplace of women's rights," Aurora's Wells College is an all female campus (many of whom are, reputedly, lesbians) and Ithaca....well, Ithaca is the City of Evil.

Based on the time of her Today appearance and the timing/direction of her upstate appearances, it is possible that she is riding in a chauffered limo.

Wow! Does this mean she is coming to promise another 250,000 jobs for NYS? We're still awaiting the last 250,000 jobs. She is such a hero, a senator that has done sooooo much for her state.

She's very active in this fingerlakes region because of her base. But it looks like she her present goal there is to be put in the Women's Hall of Fame. I'd say politically, we're looking at six months or less for her name to be submitted and unanimously approved. Of course, without Bubba, she would be an unknown...a peon (sp?) in reality.

If she was willing to scarf down a sausage more often, Bill might not have gone for Monica

I've just been informed that, despite claiming she wants to meet with "agriculture and business leaders" in the area, Hillary didn't invite to the meeting the #1 farm official in the county, the President of the county Farm Bureau.
Gee, you don't think it could have anything to do with the fact that he is also the Chair of a town Republican committee?
It couldn't be that Hillary doesn't really care about hearing all sides on farm issues, but just wants some cheap publicity in front of a docile audience, portraying herself as a "friend of the farmer"? Could it?
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Nah....the Hildebeast would NEVER ever stifle dissension and go for cheap publicity before a synchphantic media....nope....not her.... (I'd type more but all this eye rolling is giving me a headache)

Heads up North Country The beast is comming I was on coffen St. in watertown 2 days ago and on the billboard in front the jefferson county fairgrounds it said Hillary clinton 8/30.
To: SirTaurus
I would think that there wouldn't be much of a draw in Watertown for Hillary being that there are many military dependents living there. I would think she'd be as welcomed there as she would at Ft Bragg or Quantico.

Hillary reminds me as a Tolkien ringwraith....
9 rings for mortal men
doomed to die
7 rings for elven kings
under the sky
3 rings for dwarven kings
in halls of stone
1 ring to rule them all....
....In the City of Ithaca where the shadows lie!
