>>>See this is why I don't trust you Social Liberals, you have 0 credability because you just make bold face lies just like that, without a twitch of a human Conscience, because you don't have any values ... Well said. But don't forget. In many cases, the phrase "social liberal" is just another term for "Libertarian"/ "libertarian".
Rnold, like his buddy Jeese Ventura, are social liberals, aka libertarians. A vote for Rnold, is a vote for liberalism.

Go for it, baby - tear Arnold down. In the end, one of three things happens - either you wind up paying for a gross of Manssiers for the governors mansion to fit Governor Busty during his term, Gray Davis stays in office, or Arnold wins without you or Tommy boy. Any way it shakes, you "true" guys are on the outs for a very, very long time - likely in perpetuity.
If Republicans ever realize they can win without you while having much more fun, you're in trouble (there is a twofer to this - an Arnold win will can't the Dems back to the middle - pluses all the way round).

Hah. So what if Arnold did everything that is thought of, and worse. I have no doubt that some politicians are rapists, well we know BJC is, but I mean other ones. And I'm sure some politicians are pedophiles, or engage in orgies, or engage in bizarre sexual activity, i.e. Gary Condit. "Powerful" men always have an urge to do these ... things. Arnold is nothing compared to them.

Have you read anything I have posted on Arnold?
I have endorsed Arnold if Cruz is winning. I have said that the hit piece is ridiculous. The only thing I have advocated was supporting Tom until we know where the numbers are. It is far to early for Tom to get out. Maybe you should actually read the thread instead of arbitrary making accusations and red herring attacks.
YOU are the one putting all Social Conservatives together as the worst thing in politics. You have done this, I take the grouping as a compliment. Bush and Reagan are social conservatives and I am a social conservative, you are the only one with the problem with this.
If you feel left out go find some great middle of the road Americans.

I read the entire article and found nothing surprising in it. He was a world-famous super-star, women followed him around everywhere, he was part of a quite unique life-style. He also was very self-disciplined in many ways. You cannot compare Mr. McClintock or ANYONE else with him, he was simply one of a kind. Don't any of you remember what a phenomenon he was? I am surprised he didn't do more.
And I will never judge anyone by past mistakes.
Clinton's problem was he never changed, failed to grow up and beyond his adolescent life-style.
Arnold did not lie, he was and is very open. More than most would be about similar past behavior.
And he has moved on.
This has become such a judgmental board with some members, it amazes me some times.
All these high & mighty proclamations about what a true conservative does now, did in the '70's.
I wonder how perfect these people who stand in judgment are and were then, or how they would have handled the fame and success and various opportunites Arnold had in the past and has now.

Since when is reporting the facts about Arnold "tearing him down"?
Your out of state ideas about California are quaint but perhaps you should leave analyzing the tendencies of our population to those who understand it: Californians.
Illegal immigration is the number one issue facing this state. It is integral to fixing the financial crisis, especially without raising taxes. The next governor must deal with it or we will tank. Arnold has no intention to do anything about it. He has said so. In that vein, he is no different than Davis. Why change and have the state tank under a governor with an (R) after his name?
This recall was about saving California. So far, I have not seen one good argument how Arnold can do that.

I just can't help but to remark on your contempt of a free spirit? Still free, and willing to stand tall and talk of anything now? I recall many of you on these boards, speculating as to the nature of the evidence in ol' xlinton's trou, speculating this and that in a weird display of the evidence involved in his abusive pecidillo. Wierd. Speculating on matters most intimate, letting your fantasies go full blown, so to speak. It was an informitive era for those curious of people's motivations. Now you've a candidate who has lived life as a free spirit, and still is a free spirit, his life open, admitted and revealed and documented for all to see, yet you perceive him as immoral. Can't you see that everyone who thinks that they have a free spirit identifies with AS? Can't you see that we see you as troubled?

Calling McClintock "unelectable" is not good for the GOP either now, or in the future,
despite the hearfelt sentiments of those in Arnold's camp. True! Not what you said...but that he's un-electable.

If Arnold changed so much then why is the man having his friend, Robe Lowe on his team? A man with a bad past.Lowe appears to be yet another who is turning from left to right and making changes. He became a supporter of President Bush before the war and said on Fox that he supported our troops and the best way to show our support for them was to support our commander in chief.
You find that upsetting? I think that is great.
He also is reportedly settled down with a wife and is traveling a different road. I applaud his changing the direction he was heading in to go for a more wise and rewarding way of life.

Big deal about the grass smoking. Go watch Pumping Iron when it plays on Cinemax, the penultimate scene shows him taking a toke on Bob Marley-sized spliff. Great stuff.

Oh please get over yourself.
I don't see how any of the things you listed should in anyway be relevent to the campaign with perhaps the last issue, which still took place over 25 years ago.
Pssstttt.. GWB got busted for DUI. Should we go out and crucify him now?!

Your out of state ideas about California are quaint but perhaps you should leave analyzing the tendencies of our population to those who understand it: Californians. Sorry, but California "true conservatives" have created an environment where being a principled electoral loser is considered an ennobling trait. Since you've been causing swarms of moderate California voters to run for the arms of the Democratic Party (and frankly, from flyover country, your whackos on the right become symbols of the GOP we have to overcome nationwide), you've been casting 54 EVs for Dem presidential candidates, sending two Dem senators and mostly Dem reps to congress. Your statehouse is infested with Dems in the legislature and the bureaucracy, the GOP holds no statewide offices, and your judges are simply vile. You want to gripe about Mexicans? Great - but you really need to talk to Texas, to see how there is about an even party split there - this notion of stridently getting in people's faces WILL NOT WORK.
You've been failures for years, and its time you guys hit the showers - because we're tired of having to adjust to what you dolts send to Washington.
