And my prediction that Busty comes in third may still come about.Agreed. McClintock doesn't take any votes away from Ahnold. McClintock is supported by people with at least some principles and self-respect, so they wouldn't be voting for a RINO scumbag even if McClintock were to drop out of the race.

Such bitterness. You wish..its SARCASM my friend, sarcasm. It would be bitterness if the liberal had won, but since the campaign is still alive it's just a bit of wit. Honest, everytime I do an Arnold post I have a big grin on my face.

I hope this poll (plus details) will be published soon. Did Dreier say when he thinks that would be?

The only poll I want to see is the one after the debates, and that is election day. Hopefully by then Arnold will be such a laughingstock, that he will have dropped out, giving McClintock an easy victory.

I agree. After a while, it makes you not even to want to vote for McClintock because of the nasty people who support him. It's a "my guy or the highway" mentality."

Right so now Ah-nold's supporters have no "self-respect." I see. And whom in your opinion would McClintock supporters be voting for if McClintock were to drop out of the race?

True. Though, I would vote for McClintock if he were the front runner, and Arnie were trailing. I wouldn't hold his supporters on FR against him.

Hey, if McClintock was in the lead, I'd be DOUBLY excited, because he is a true conservative. But until he gets ahead of Arnold or appears to be credibly electable, then I'm not going to torpedo the GOP's only chance here to rescue this state.
This is from someone who voted Keyes in 1992 primary and Forbes in 1996, but who is a realist.

We need to be taking down the names of all the Ahnold Poll Jockeys on the FR and create a "Hall of Shame" for them after Ahnold rams his first huge take increase (for the childrun) through the legislature. GREAT idea. I love it.
I actually have a box full of business cards in my desk with the words DAN YOU WERE RIGHT printed on them and nothing else. When I have a really heated debate I give it to my opponent and say, "Hang on to this and you can give it back to me later when I have been proven correct and you feel ashamed." I need to find a way to get some of those out to the freepers who are swallowing the Arnold CoolAid.

AS - 45%
Busta - 29
Mclnt - 11%
Well, if we could persuade all the Busta and McInt voters to switch, we could give Ahnold a run for his Kennedy money and maybe end up with some real busta montes in Sacramento!

Then obviously we reached the same conclusion.
Some of the work in this election is going to be one-on-one discussions, with undecided voters.
If McClintock supporters on the internet are a relection of the candidate's campaign workforce, voters will not be attracted and may be repelled.
When I walk on a car lot, the salesman usually does NOT say: "Hey you, stupid. Come here. I gotta car I want you to look at."
You do get it, and that is great. Sadly, far too many conservatives do not, never do, cannot and will not.
