Arnold backers: SHOULD GAYS BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS? Arnold says yes -- do you agree?

According to Lifesite, a Nov. 18, 2002 Associated Press article reported that Schwarzenegger describes himself as "very liberal" on social issues and that "He favors legalized abortion…and gay adoption". England's May 30 Guardian newspaper also quotes commentator Bill Bradley stating, "He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights… "

IS THIS REALLY AN ISSUE THAT FREEPERS CAN SWEEP UNDER THE RUG? SHOULDN'T WE DEBATE IT - UNLIKE ABOTION IT'S SOMETHING THAT STATE POLITICIANS CAN REALLY HAVE AN EFFECT OVER. SHOULD GAYS BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS? IF YOU SAY NO, CAN YOU STILL SUPPORT ARNOLD?

Yep, it's all the fault of McClintock and his supporters. None of the blame lies with Arnold's leftist social agenda.

I don't happen to be, no. But I'm not afraid of them as you appear to be. Why are you so scared?

Are you saying that Jim Robinson is a DU operative?

Well?

Yet another Arnie supporter who doesn't seem to understand that a vote for Tom is a vote for Tom. Geez. I'm starting to wonder about the intelligence of Arnie supporters.

I encourage everyone who want's to, to vote for McCormick even at 5% if they like. I encourage everyone else to vote for Scharzenegger if they think he is most able to take Bustamante down on October 7th, and can't stand the idea of him winning.

What does Bustamante think about it?

What?

Was it something I said?

GOP once again uses his crystal ball to tell us who the next governor will be. Just to be safe, though, he hedges with the "or." Now I want to know about the races next Tuesday. Can you help me out with your powers of future prediction?

Are you saying Bush is a DU operative?

Quotes from another thread:

Bustamante as governor would not be good news for Bush. As a Democrat in the governor’s chair, he would inherit Davis’s fiscal problems but not his personal baggage. Accordingly, the election of a Republican Oct. 7 suddenly becomes a Bush priority. Nobody gives 2002 nominee Bill Simon a prayer, and state Sen. Tom McClintock is a very dark horse. That is why, on the day after Schwarzenegger nudged aside Riordan to become a candidate, the President declared of the five-time Mr. Universe: “I think he’d make a good governor.”

LINK

I think McClintock is the better candidate.  If he can't win I will vote for someone else rather than see Davis or worse yet Bustamante hold the office.

You missed my point. Without an agreement on what law is supposed to do, it doesn't get created. Law reflects a moral order. Your broadside that social conservatives don't matter is in effect saying that the considerations of what informs lawmaking are irrelevant.

Have you noticed that the most vocal opposition to Arnold are from people not even in CA?

I don't support Bustamante, so I don't have to answer for or defend his positions. In fact, it's because of his positions that I oppose Bustamante.

You on the other hand, apparently support Arnold. Therefore you ought to be able to defend his positions, since you want someone who holds those positions to serve as governor.

Yes, the next Governor of California will not be Tom McClintock.

If you really believe that, then you need to cut out the "a vote for McC is a vote for Busta" posts and cartoons that you post to every California election thread.

What you are doing is indistinguishable from what a Democrat operatitive would be doing on behalf of Cruz Bustamante.

You know, it must be real hard for you folks to come to terms with the fact that I will vote for McClintock if he has a chance of winning. What's your explanation for that in the grand conspiracy theory?

Have you noticed that this point inevitably appears from those who have no other recourse? As desperation, it works pretty well. As logical thought, it doesn't.

You've mixed up the talking points. It is the Schwarzenegger supporters who have all started accusing McClintock supporters of being Democrat operatives, who want to elect Large Breasts.

I was just pointing out how silly that accusation is.
