Arnold backers: SHOULD GAYS BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS? Arnold says yes -- do you agree?

According to Lifesite, a Nov. 18, 2002 Associated Press article reported that Schwarzenegger describes himself as "very liberal" on social issues and that "He favors legalized abortion…and gay adoption". England's May 30 Guardian newspaper also quotes commentator Bill Bradley stating, "He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights… "

IS THIS REALLY AN ISSUE THAT FREEPERS CAN SWEEP UNDER THE RUG? SHOULDN'T WE DEBATE IT - UNLIKE ABOTION IT'S SOMETHING THAT STATE POLITICIANS CAN REALLY HAVE AN EFFECT OVER. SHOULD GAYS BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS? IF YOU SAY NO, CAN YOU STILL SUPPORT ARNOLD?

How can you condemn all gays and say they are all pedophiles. You don't like gays which is your right but who are you to say that they are pedophiles.Name me where in the news that gays have been molesting children.I have read a lot of news about so called straight men but I really can't remember reading about gay men and children. As for the matter of adoption I believe that if two men or two women want to adopt a child and give them a loving home, who am I to say no.I am a mother of three beautiful adult children and I raised them not to judge others.I don't know anything about the people on this site, but for those who are still young your day will come to have your own children and how would you feel if your child came to you and said he or she was gay, maybe then you'd change your way of thinking. This is not to offend anyone.

Tightening the borders is the most important issue facing California. I just don't see Arnold equipped to address the issue, especially with Business beating a path to his door and filling his coffers.

McClintock will make it a central issue, hopefully. That is why I will vote for him. If he steps aside, I will vote for Arnold. And let's face it, he will step aside at the end if his numbers don't rise.

Seems like some people have changed screen names as well as some of their posts against Arnold are right out of their anti-Bush posts back before Nov 2000 and since that time. And control freaks also like to call other people names when they don't agree with them -- I have noticed!

If what I have seen recently is a dry-run for the 2004 election by some people, it is going to be a long year on here!

Go ahead and vote for Cruz for all Republicans care......

A vote for McClintock is a vote for Bustamente. Is as dumb and lethal as a vote for Perot in 1992 that got Clinton in the White House. File this one under "Cuts off nose to spite face"

California is so far gone that Arnold is a good you'll get. Busty will be far worse

What possible objection can any reasonable person have

None, other than it is a strawman intended to degrade Ahrnuld, and has nothing to do with anything, except to get bustamante elected, and, contrary to some of the bs I've read today, don't see much silver lining in that concept.

Is this the top crisis issue in CA at the present moment?

If not what is?

Curious, do you reside in CA as you don't fly your state flag?

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Republican always seem to shoot themselves in the foot.

Well, I have to get back to work to more money; being the capitalist piggie I am.

"Arnold is a good you'll get. Busty will be far worse"

I agree, but many McClintock supporters don't care about California, only their own self-righteousness.

"Nah, McClintock is a better choice."

McClintock, by staying in the race is doing more to promote the homosexual agenda than could Barney Frank.

If you care about the Republican Party nationally, you ought to be concerned that the GOP in the largest state could be taken over by a group who are for gay adoptions -- something that would have been repugnant to Democrats as well as Republicans just a few years ago.

Why do you take this bait? This is one of the left's favorite tactics, bring up anything gay, associate it any way possible with a Republican, and sit back as they implode. Surely, with the number of issues in California, its size and value to the US economy, you can't rank gay adoption in the top five issues, even in terms of potential destructive capability. And yet, even if you do, shouldn't this be about trying to guard against as many threats as possible (like most of the Democrat's platform) rather than leaving the entire treasure open to destruction while you protect single issues?
