According to Lifesite, a Nov. 18, 2002 Associated Press article reported that Schwarzenegger describes himself as "very liberal" on social issues and that "He favors legalized abortion
and gay adoption". England's May 30 Guardian newspaper also quotes commentator Bill Bradley stating, "He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights
"
IS THIS REALLY AN ISSUE THAT FREEPERS CAN SWEEP UNDER THE RUG? SHOULDN'T WE DEBATE IT - UNLIKE ABOTION IT'S SOMETHING THAT STATE POLITICIANS CAN REALLY HAVE AN EFFECT OVER. SHOULD GAYS BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS? IF YOU SAY NO, CAN YOU STILL SUPPORT ARNOLD?

unfortunately, the Republican Party in Cal is on the verge of becoming like the Episcopal Church - - taken over by people who reject thousands of years of humanity's collective common sense on issues of sexual behavior.

I'm betting these folks think Bustamante is better than Schwarzenegger on gun control too.

Social conservatives should not support Arnold.
I agree. Gay adoptions? With all the infertile married couples who have to wait 8-10 years to adopt? Please.

It's amazing how many people think only Arnold can beat Cruz. Do you actually think people are going to go to the polls and vote yes on getting rid of Davis, and then voting in his second in command. Then whats the point of the recall. I don't even think Californians are either a) that stupid b) motivated enough to get to the polls to get rid of Davis so they can put in Cruz. No, the motivated are the Republicans, who are energized by Tom the more they here about him, and turned off as they begin to here how truly bankrupt and an empty suit Arnold. Quit believing all the lies and hype in the media Republicans, Tom will crush Boozemonte, and terminate the Great Pretender.

I'm really starting to think that DU is sending in a lot operatives to puch their boy Bustamante through.
I also don't think that gay adoption will be one of the pieces of legislation that will be submitted as a bill anytime soon.

"Since we don't know if McClintock can be elected or not"
And since we don't know whether Arnie will be elected or not, then it's up to each voter to vote how he or she sees fit, without being told that his or her vote is "really" a vote for someone else. Stop the FUD.

The next Governor of California will be either Arnold Schwarzenegger or Cruz Bustamante. Your fixation on homosexuality will not change that fact.

Hmm. I guess no matter how many times someone tells you that a vote for McC is a vote for McC, you won't get it.

There is law now? Everywhere I look the law is held in contempt. LEOs abuse their power, politicians enact new laws to make everyone guilty of something, and basicall, the more laws you have the less law you have, moral agreement or not.

Is it really so hard to find quotes from Arnold on this topic that you have to resort to hearsay?
