Arnold backers: SHOULD GAYS BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS? Arnold says yes -- do you agree?

According to Lifesite, a Nov. 18, 2002 Associated Press article reported that Schwarzenegger describes himself as "very liberal" on social issues and that "He favors legalized abortion
and gay adoption". England's May 30 Guardian newspaper also quotes commentator Bill Bradley stating, "He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights
"
IS THIS REALLY AN ISSUE THAT FREEPERS CAN SWEEP UNDER THE RUG? SHOULDN'T WE DEBATE IT - UNLIKE ABOTION IT'S SOMETHING THAT STATE POLITICIANS CAN REALLY HAVE AN EFFECT OVER. SHOULD GAYS BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS? IF YOU SAY NO, CAN YOU STILL SUPPORT ARNOLD?

This is why we have a gray davis in office now. We can never just lay out the facts,we have to destroy those we don't like.
For those that do not live here in California, we dare not send our children and grandchildren to the public schools here now.Davis has turned them into gay training centers.
NO I DON'T THINK THAT GAYS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT YOUNG BOYS OR YOUNG GIRLS. THEY SHOULD NOT BE TEACHING THIER LIFESTYLES IN OUR TAX PAID SCHOOLS. THEY ARE DOING JUST THAT UNDER DAVIS.
Last week I heard a lady, I think she called into Rush's program , she was for McClintock by the time she was done I had turned away from voting for him. I believe we should be very careful what we say and how we say it, I am not to sure who I will vote for now but I will vote.

I have already told you what went wrong with Simon's campaign, Tempest. Did you go and find the article in Insight about what happened? Or are you still blaming the voters for the foul-ups of the candidate and his advisors? The sophomoric put-downs are getting a bit stale, you know.

I guess the kids would be better served in a state run group home, instead of having gays raise them
Given all the infertile hetero couples out there, it's not a choice btw gay parents and state homes - - there are plenty of families who are desparate to adopt. Why do you -- and Arnold -- want gay couples to be able to compete with these families?
To: churchillbuff
I've become a bit more pragmatic as the years have gone on. While I donated to Harry Browne, I also donated to and voted for George Bush.
I'm absolutely positive Arnold would be better for California than Cruz "Aztlan" Bustamante. I don't care much for racists who like illegal aliens.

I don't believe that many McClintock supporters are Democrat operatives, but the actions of the more crazed ones are indistinguishable from what Democrat operatives would be doing on behalf of Cruz Bustamante.

BTW - Should homosexuals be allowed to adopt? Of course not. Children should not be placed with mentally disturbed people.

What issue? All I'm saying is that your talking point that McClintock supporters are Democrat operatives is unfair and untrue. It is not untrue, but perhaps it may be more fair to equate them to 'useful idiots', to dim to know they're being used.

What's your defense of adoption of young boys by Gays?I accept your explanation of wanting to start a discussion.
As for gay adoption of boys, I'm not for it. I'm not for gay adoption period. From the way you put it, you make it like gay adoption of girls is ok, or less of a problem than gay adoption of boys....or young boys.
As for this being an issue in Cali, it's not. This recall didn't happen b/c the Davis administration took a stand on gay adoption. There was a recall b/c of severe mismanagement of the budget. Now, if Arnold (if he could) was running for president, then this would be a different story. But since he cannot appoint SCOTUS justices, I'm not too worried about it.

Have you also noticed a bunch of screen names that you don't recognize? Check the dates and they go back to the 2000 election aftermath. Where have some of these folks been? I recognize some names but there are more on the McClintock bandwagon that I don't recognize then I do!
Nothing wrong with voting for MCClintock, but why the venom against Arnold and his supporters? He has no say over gay adoptions which are law in CA or over abortion which is the law of the land but yet Freepers want everyone to believe that social issues are the #1 issues. Still own property out there and would love for the CA economy to come back!

Arnold is a RINO, which means he will offer no solutions to problems different from Davis, but because of the R by his name, will focus blame on Republicans.
