They sure look clean. That little LT looks like a handful. Used to be they made all the male 2LT's serve a year in the Infantry before they could go to their branch school. They ought to bring that back, and send all the female 2LT's to the MP Corps. Maybe that way Patriot Maintenance Company Commanders can learn vital leadership skills.

The 'rats always said it was all about
oooiiillll!!I don't know what they teach young MP's nowadays about vehicle maintenance. I know we never went out the motor pool gate without a bustle rack full of cans of various weights of oil, cherry juice, apple juice, squelch juice and any other fluid that was subject to leak out.

Mk 19 M2 Smoke gernades visible wonder what else they have on board the critter, over pressure system, etc.
Bet it has real power stirring, no just all your power.
Probably a diesel and no a gas engine, probably have move fuel tanks so they aren't sitting at your feet.

When I was in the Middle East... many times we had encounters such as this and every one was better than the last. The people over there have good and bad just as we do here in the CONUS. I have friends there in Qatar, Oman, UAE and Kuwait that I still stay in contact with.
Call it a modern day unintentional version of the old Hearts and Minds program......That light armor looks like an old V100/V150 Cadillac Gage Commando ????
Stay Safe and thanks Cannoneer for the ping !

When we left, the old man told me that he wanted us to come back for breakfast the next day. He told me that Iraq needs American friends.Almost missed this wonderful story for sharing. Thanks for the post and the pings.
