>>>Uh...did you read the whole article?

Sure enough, bucko!

I'm not bashing the liberal RINO, Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'm merely criticizing his rhetoric and lack of substance. Besides, he may have convinced the two of you, that he has solid conservative credentials and that's fine. But he hasn't convinced me. Yet.

If your so gulible and naive, as to believe one or two days worth of unspecific political rhetoric from Arnold and his handlers, so be it. I'm not ready to crown him King of California.

But, Schwarzenegger, who is seeking to replace Democratic Gov. Gray Davis (search) in an Oct. 7 recall election, said that he would not raise taxes or cut spending to do it.

Then how?

He said he wants a constitutional spending cap and pledged that as soon as he is in office, he will appoint Hoover Institution scholar John Kogan to lead the working group that would be charged with "restructuring the inherited debt."

I like the spending cap.

But I still have to back McClintock. He's the best man running in the two major parties.

First, I am not gullible or naive, and I judge candidates by more than a few days worth of statements. I look at an entire context.

Second, nobody is seeking to crown him king of California, just some hope he becomes the next governor there.

It's that type of over the top rhetoric and the eagerness some latch onto the least bit of information to support their negative views of the man that don't garner much respect or widen the base for your candidate.

Keep reading.....This report (from Fox no less) is WRONG. Schwarzenegger said cuts are necessary.

You'll see.

>>>I look at an entire context.

Come on. The entire context of Arnold's poltiical campaign amounts to roughly 2-3 days of rhetoric, at the most.

>>>It's that type of over the top rhetoric and the eagerness some latch onto the least bit of information to support their negative views of the man that don't garner much respect or widen the base for your candidate.

You ARE naive and you ARE gulible and this statement proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Arnold has been involved in the political arena for a total of may be ten whole days and already he's the ultimate fiscal conservative and has all the answers. Give me a break! LMAO

You are completely and utterly incorrect and have no business making pronouncements about anybody, whether they be candidates or posters on FR, since you display such a deficit of knowledge.

Laugh all you want. Ignorance is bliss, they say.

(Plus you assign statements to people that they never said. Tsk, tsk)

I'll match my political knowledge and experience with yours, any day of the week. You can't even comprehend the basic argument, that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a political novice and social liberal, who supports abortion on demand, special rights for homosexuals and gun control. His rhetoric on fiscal conservatism falls short, especially when one compares it with his recent remarks, about wanting to get California's social welfare programs properly funded, for the people. I call that high minded liberalism.

Let's not forget, Arnold was about to leave the GOP because he disagreed with the impeachment proceedings against der schlickmeister. In my book, that means Arnold condoned Clinton's outrageous behavior. Remember, BillBoy perjured himself and lied to a grand jury.

Read Arnold's political opinions and then read the GOP party platform. You'll be amazed to find out to what degree Arnold is not a Republican. On most social issues Arnold is closer to his relative, FatTeddyK, then he is to Ronald Reagan or PresBush43. On economic issues Arnold hasn't proven he's a fiscal conservative, so far. And frankly, I doubt he ever will.

Anyone who comes on this ultimate conservative website and says they support a liberal RINO like Arnold, needs their head examined.

Whatever. You have demonstrated zero insight and you present faulty data to support your contentions. Then you lob insults.

All in all, not impressive.

>>>Whatever. You have demonstrated zero insight and you present faulty data to support your contentions.

This has nothing to do with insight. This has to do with you attempting to change the subject matter, from Arnold to Reagan Man, because you've lost the political argument on the substantive nature of Arnold's candidacy and the fact he's nothing but a liberal RINO.

And don't whine to me about lobbing insults either. When someone responds with an "LOL", that's a sure sign their ability to carry on any intelligent debate, is highly questionable. And you've proven you're a thin-skinned rhetorical big mouth and nothing more.

I can't vote in California elections anyhow ---- I'm not from Mexico --- but it certainly looks like they've got a campaign started against Arnold in Mexico. Here are some of their recent articles trying to smear him: (not exactly balanced and you can tell the choice of the Mexican government is clearly Bustamante)
