The spirit of religion should not include funding the murder of Jews, Christians, children and the innocent.

I am shocked that the US STIILL supports, enables, and finances murderers like Arafat/Abbas/etc.

I am shocked that the State Dept. dares to harbor, enable, and support terrorists.

The victims.

The enablers and financers of child murder, innocent deaths, FOR TWO YEARS AFTER 911.
Please wake up, America!!!!!!

Thanks for posting this article -- we are so fortunate to have this man (and woman) in the Whitehouse at this challenging time in our nation's history!

Diogenesis, you know how fond we all are of you, but you can't blame Bush for what happened today. Blame the sicko who did this, and the sickos who pay for it, but don't blame the people who are doing everything they can to stop it.

None of us knows what is going on behind the scenes, we just see what the media wants us to see. Have faith.

AND ~20% OF MUSLIMS' FAITH GIVES THEM A DESIRE TO KILL US ALL. YOUR GREAT COMFORT IS THEIR REASON TO MURDER.

That's a twisted viewpoint. The president's faith has nothing to do with muslims' faith.

There should be zero (0.00, none, nada) funding for terrorists.

NONE. NONE.

"The spirit of religon is strong in the United States"
and
"Politicians need to walk a fine line"
Well I'll be dipped! somebody from Brookings got something right.
"Enter ye in at the strait gate:for wide is the gate broad is the way that leadeth to destruction,and many there be which go in thereat;
Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few therebe that find it.

My fury got in the way of clear exposition. I mean to suggest that the President get busy confronting Islam generated terror in all its forms, including Palestinian.

No disrespect of the President's faith was intended.

Man, you guys need to chill and cut this crap. I am as sad and angry about this thing today as you are. But don't blame Bush for this.

Sharon is a man who has for 50 years devoted his life for his country's security. He signed off on it. Do ya think he is stupid?

I don't understand what's going on, on that score either.

My sources indicate he's well aware of the duplicity, hypocrisy, evil intent etc. of Arafart and company.

There are some hints of things underneath the surface that can't be discussed with implications that The President is not near as much of an idiot about Arafart as people suppose.

But therefore what, I haven't a clue.

Certainly God is working out HIS intent with ALL the actors on the Middle Eastern scene.

Prayer is still one of the strongest forces in the universe.

Thanks.

Imagine that - he spoke quietly about what his faith does for him, he made no calls that any of his system of religious beliefs or dogma be enshrined at law, nor did he call for the State to make any pronouncement or display any monument setting forth his faith as being the best.

I think he knows that posting statues and religious symbols all over the place will not bring people closer to God.

Look at Jerusalem tonight...
the only people closer to God are the sad lot of little souls that took the bus ride to heaven's gate tonight. jerusalem is packed to the gills with religious symbols of faith...

Religious symbols are nothing. do nothing. mean nothing.. and seem to inflame public life to the point of nailbombs ad infinitum.

ACTIONS are what have an impact... not protests. not statues. not placards and prayer vigils.

I want bush to do something palp. I want him to not do something as well.

I want him to stand up and say... "I WILL NOT STAND IN the way of ISRAEL'S path to freedom and liberty, there will be NO palestinian state, until it is purged of the evil poison that inhabits it's every darkened doorway. Arafat needs to go first. Saudis are next. The rest of these human bombers will be dealt with as new target states emerge."

I am very very... upset.

I blame bush for standing in Sharon's way... for standing for a independent state of murderors to kill jews... for sending the palestinian authority millions of USA and foreign dollars (albeit in good faith), that they no doubt used to fund this shit.

the blood is on his hands AND ours for not cutting this bunch of terrorist scum down... hyde hair root and branch.

the idea that palistinian terrorists are somehow worthy of a state of their own, when the baathist and the talibunnies were not? just damn.

it makes me FURIOUS and I MUST blame BUSH for collaring Sharon, Bibi, and other Godly Jewish Leaders who have tried to satisfy US by letting arabs kill their children... and I have had it... HAD IT G-D IT... hear me?

There must never be a roadmap to peace. . . with these nailbombing folks. And their families gave candy to each other in the west bank today in celebration... the same denebrian slimedevils that rejoiced on 9/11.

I have no mercy for these folks, perhaps God in his infinite mercy knows of a better way... but not me. Bush is the man. He could not have stopped this. But he could have not facilitated it by saying "fences are not helpful" and such.

Not as shocked as I am that so many supposedly intelligent people can post such utter nonsense on this forum.
