[history]
If it's true that a woman has to kiss many frogs before she finds her prince, then Kimberly Devlin's lips must be turning green. Recent first dates -- they usually end there -- have asked her to pay the check, have lied about owning a car, or have fibbed about their line of work. The last man who asked her out, though nice enough, was a walking billboard for his tattoo parlor and wore more earrings than the 22-year-old Devlin could count.

The man they choose will accompany Devlin on a weekend getaway at an International Inn "Cuddle and Bubble" hotel on Cape Cod, where their room will include a Jacuzzi built for two.
Ok, this place sounds like a total hole in the wall. We've got a few of these kinds of motels around here, and they're really disgusting. From everything else I've read, the parents probably thought it was perfect. Anyhow...
Kudos to her for keeping the kid. I only wish marriage were as easy as an interview.

Actually, it's not that bad, I still head over to the original Kelly's RoastBeef down the beach, they make a killer clam plate.
Having lived in Malden which is just a town away, I really don't have much to brag about.

Definitely worth the watch.
I feel really sorry for her. She must be so desperate, especially because she has a daughter. No guy wants another man's kid.

I'm from Tennessee. I don't remember meeting anyone from further north than Nashville until I was 8 and I didn't understand a word they said (they were from Chicago). You'll have to translate "Wahvee-ah" for me.

What would you be calling her had she aborted the child?Probably a different name
I admire her for keeping her daughter. That is in her favor. I don't like the fact her father managed a bar.
To: Phantom Lord
Naw, she ain't Asian, not interested.

That's one of the reasons they have abortions- they think no one's ever going to know... That baby will just disappear... like it never existed... In reality, that's far from the way it goes.

To be cynical though I'm skeptical that she was pro life at the onset. See unprotected pre marital sex. More likely she thought she was in love with the sperm donor, thought he wouldn't take off and they'd be together forever.
Then again its obvious she cares for her daughter, isn't ashamed of her and wants her to have a Daddy. Don't know if this is the best way to go about it though.

Probably one of the few things she has done right. Let's hope that she builds on that.

Because they come in many pretty colors and flavors..
Also her mommy has them too except on other parts of her body.
Besides, "tats" and piercings are the norm for thier age now...

I figured there was no picture because the Boston Globe is so PC, and including a photo would just encourage "lookism." Of course Devlin's family insists that all suitors submit a photo of themselves, but hey, for the PC-elite, the double standard is all part of the game.

If that's her you can pick her up down at the drug rehab.

FWIW..there are a few good guys around..though we are RARE..I married my wife when her girls were 3 and 6years old..she'd thrown out her husband for having an affair an few years ago.....love 'em like they were my own..which they are..I chose them, after all..they both got married last year..walked them both down the aisle..only regret, of sorts, is that she didn't wantt o have any more kids..she didn't want to ever be in that tough place again...so, I gave her an engagement ring..she gave me a gift certificate for a vasectomy....

Asked whether that may be rushing things a bit, Wood said that on this count she has complete faith in her daughter's judgment. "I don't think they're going to do something they shouldn't do there. It's just a getaway where they can relax and bring it down to a one-on-one level," Wood said. "I'm not saying they have to get married at the end of five weeks, after all.
Just how many applicants are going to say anything and everything "right" for a free trip to the Bubble and Cuddle Hotel?
Words fail me.............
