True in Iraq, but as long as the mullahs are allowed to preach suicide all over the world this stuff will continue forever.

I agree. Too bad we don't have more experience in sealing borders (like our own!).

...but I'm wondering if there's not more happening that we haven't been told, yet.My thoughts exactly.

Yes, we do need to give a damn. Tsk. Logic and reasoned responses are for pansies. It's much more satisfying to call for indiscriminate killing -- especially if you can do it in 96-point font.

What do you think our troops have been doing in Iraq over the past 5 months? As long as our troops are in Iraq - no way will the DoD tell CNN or the UN how many bad guys we've taken out. (Think multiple thousands).

CNN is reporting the UN didn't want that many guards around the building because they didn't want to be like the Americans. Perhaps they'll reconsider.

Yes, we should give a damm.
At it's very worst, this is designed to drive the US and the UN into closer cooperation with each other. We will now be expected to provide more security for the UN.
We actually need to do more than get out of the UN, we need to dismantle the UN.
To: motherlydia
They are probably taking them all to a super secure facility guarded by our best, and at the next opportunity, will probably evac the Senators out of that stinking iraqi cesspool.

ABC news just reported that Senator Inhoffe's office has still not located him. I wish they would find him real fast .. I don't like the fact they can't locate him

Don't misconstrue me as defending the mullahs - those flea-bitten creeps are no friend of mine or of civilization, but the way to deal with them is to show people there's a better way, a way in which people can practice their religion in peace.

TOMMY FRANKS: I would say this: I believe that any nation that wants to control its borders can do so.Gen. Franks probably passed through Check Point Charlie. I've gathered that a lot of Freepers big on building walls against the world haven't seen how those walls work both ways...
To: Mo1
I hope they find him too. If he is among the victims, there will be hell to pay- and GWB will make sure justice is done.
To: Mo1
Might be hard for the senator to get through to anybody right now. Bet all the phone lines are jammed there. Hopefully, everything will be ok.

At it's very worst, this is designed to drive the US and the UN into closer cooperation with each other. Very interesting observation. I'm certain that it will do this -- at least to the point of having our guys guard them.
But the idea of having the Iraqis lump us all together as a convenient "mass of infidels" for the salamikazes to attack....
I think you've nailed it.

Don't you think that it is Al Queada or Saddam's followers? Should added a sarcasm tag. Sorry.

I know, I know. Me too.

I see this so differently.
Right after Saddam's evil spawn daughter gets asylum in Jordan, the Jordanian Embassy gets bombed.
The U.N. (who was exemp from weapons searches) has no troops here, and had Saddam's loyalists working for them.
I think there is something fishy about this bombing, and it coicides with all thes Ba'athists getting dragged to the firing squad.
This comes two days after the Iraqi police patrol alone for the first time and arrest 18 people and take cashe of weapons.
Does anybody else think the U.N. building was housing Saddam and/or terrorists, and the Iraqi people did this to take them out?
I guess we'll find out, but this isn't anti-American by any stretch.
