Hannity station went dead for about 20 seconds. Said he had never seen anything like it.

Thanks for the solid info. Would they attempt a startup using standby diesels, or wait for outside power?Offsite power is required for nukes. Plus, they need a path for the generation to flow. They'll need a couple of main transmission lines connected before they even think of starting a large generator.

I noticed the networks, except for ABC, stayed with their crap reruns and stuff. ABC had a Blooper rerun show scheduled but did a live story on the outage with Koppel.

We were down again for about 3 hours or so here in central Jersey. Just got the cable up. I think the first surge threw the breakers for the central air, just got that back up too.
