It's not often that O'Reilly gets "humbled" by one of his guests, and it's not often that Ann Coulter loses a debate; I think O'Reilly has met his match!

When was this on? Tonight? I'd stopped watching O'Reilly but I'll check out the rerun if Ann's on.

Coulter: "Like what?" OReilly: "He demonized people who didnt deserve to be demonized."
Coulter: "Thats not true. Name one. There is not one."
OReilly: "Ill name oneDalton Trumbo."
Coulter: "He had nothing to do with Dalton Trumbo."
OReilly: "Sure he did. It was the House of Unamerican Activities Committee. And who was overseeing that?"
Coulter: "He was known as Senator McCarthy. He was in the Senate not the House. Everyone confuses him with the House UnAmerican Activities Committee."
OReilly: "But who was overseeing that?"
Ooooh oooh oooh! I know!

This is exactly why the marxists have nearly succeeded in highjacking our constitution. Anyone who dares try to expose them is demonized. God Bless Ann for trying, and curse those who try to silence her.

O'Reilly made a silly mistake. He knows better; he didn't think about the question.
To: jeffsher
She might have "humbled" O'Reilly, but a couple of nights later she kicked Larry King right in the nuts ... you could tell by the expression on his face.

The BEST one was where Neal Boortz made Bill absolutely lose it on his show. You can find out more information about Boortz here at

Coulter was on his show a month ago.
Is this guy just now catching up on his back-logged TIVO or something?

I saw that show, The troll O'Reilley sat their and acted like he had the upper hand but Ann was bopping him over the head with the facts which he continued to deny anyways. It came off like a stalemate but Ann whooped him real good.

Sick'em Ann! You are the best. A female Michael Savage as full of as much rage as the original. Lots of Californians are becoming as full of the same rage!

Thanks for the post, but I haven't taken O'Riley seriously for quite some time. He is nothing but an overbearing empty suit.
Way to fire Ms Coulter!

I think O'Reilly has met his match!Lots of folks can match O'Reilly. He ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, although he likes to think he is. To me he is a blowhard.
As for Coulter, I was long among those who derided her "mean" streak. But lately my respect for her has begun to rise. I am not sure what to attribute it to. Maybe it was the interview she gave here on FR with AnnaZ where she came across as very human and good-natured. Or maybe it's the way she has fearlessly walked into the minefield of McCarthyism-land and dared to loudly and wittily denounce some of the most cherished leftist conceits about the "struggle against fascism." Or maybe it's just because the uncalled-for "girly-boy" crack about her former employers at National Review, which really ticked me off and was terribly disloyal, has begun to fade from memory, and indeed deserves to be forgotten. But whatever it is, I have begun to think more highly of her. I just hope she continues to put the smart as a whip, funny wordsmith into the public square, and leaves the petulant side of her personality at home.
