If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
Woo hoo! You're lookin' good kiddo!
Thanks for the update and pics, TC.
Continuing to pray for Logan and family.
May God continue to Bless and Protect.
By this time next year he'll be playing center for the San Antonio Spurs!
Logan remains in my prayers. He is such a precious child!!
I knew I'd have to finish those to post tonight.
Now my pillow is calling me.......
Have a great night!
Nite TC. Sweet dreams!!
Yeah, Uncle Tonk, when I open those on e-mail, I start grinning and don't stop for a few hours.
I like that little tooth in the last picture just barely peeking out!
Thanks for the ping, Cob! Isn't that boy something! Wow!
What a funny little guy! He makes me smile everytime I see his pictures.
I can see someone taught him how to Freep.
Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that we can draw from the wellspring of Your goodness and mercy for precious Logan's every need. Bring forth, we pray, the very nature of his distress ... grant greatest wisdom to his Doctors as they seek to settle his upsets. May he thrive under their care ... increase his tolerance and his weight, that he be healthy and strong. May his beloved family find reassurance in his medical team and comfort in their direction ... touch this little one, O Lord, and heal him, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
Lots of prayers and hopes for some good sleep.
My mother used to say the only thing that kept her from getting in trouble with the three of us and our constant mishaps was the fact that our family doctor had 3 kids who were usually in the ER just before we were.
When my son was brand new, his daddy got into poison ivy, with a horrible reaction on both his hands. For a week, I got to dress them both.
This too shall pass and you'll look back with wonder that you got through it, but knowing you wouldn't have missed a second.
I lift you up, Christie - deep in the night, there is another mommy who knows, and prays! I lift you up to God, our Father. He loves you. Help will come - but you need to be looking for it, and you might even need to ask for it. There are those who need to help. Reach out to them!
In Jesus name, I pray for you...

Isn't that the truth!! Doggone, that lil Termite looks wonderful in these pics. One can't help but smile back at his sweet face.....his grin is contagious. LOL!
Keeping Logan in my prayers, hoping things straighten out soon.
Thanks so much for the ping, TC.
Was wonder last night when we would get an update and pictures of Logan. I just didn't stay up long enough to get your post. He certainly looks the picture of health.
Thanks for the update TC. Prayers will continue for Logan.
((( Logan ))
BTTT!!!!!!!
BTW-My little Stepehen was going thru this last year himself. We had to do all the blood work every two weeks.. and they did never did find any reason for him to not gain weight. Although Stepehn does not have all of the issues that Logan has, Stephen too has had a bit of a rough time of it. And he is the happiest.. silliest guy I have ever seen. He now can count to 20 and knows all of his ABC's by sight.
He is now two and he sleeps and eats like the dickens. I was beginning to think I would never see the day.
I am praying for the same outcome for our Logan.
