If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
I agree, fatima!
It's really infectious!
I don't think anyone can be sad when they see that big, toothless, Logan grin.
LOL!
BG, I suspect if you were posting these pictures you'd have his whole Web page on the thread!
I know I'm a little partial, but this little guy has so many facial expressions for his age!
I have to remember that he's really only about three months old!
With each picture I open I have to recover from laughing before I can work with it.
He is just pure joy and love.
So? SO??
We got a lot of man talk to do!
Wimmen are okay as long as they're fixing our meals or washing our clothes, but there's times when us men folk gotta do our thing!
LOL, oh you are so bad ;-)
I keep meaning to ask, how is Logan doing developmentally? Is he rolling over yet?
Those great close-up pictures had me laughing out loud, oohing, ahhing, and generally acting silly in front of my monitor. It was great! ha. Anyone who has ever held a baby could almost experience holding him just by looking at the pictures. Thanks for the fix, T.C.!
Oh, TC, you and Gramps will get along splendidly. Sigh.
I was afraid someone was going to ask that.
You see, Logan hates to lie on his stomach because of the discomfort of his hydrocele.
It is big, and you can tell it bothers him.
Beth and Nana don't lie him on his stomach for a very long period so he isn't developing in that respect like normal babies.
He is strong enough right now to roll over. He just hasn't been given much opportunity to do so.
Threaten them with another one of those two-in-the-morning poop fests like you had when you drank that prune juice!
Well, Cowboy, gosh, you have some serious back peddlin' to do. Hop TO IT! LOLOLOL!!!!!!
I can picture the front of the house. I can picture the Cowboy on his knees in front of the house. I can see the wimmen IN the house holding Logan up to the window in the front of the house. I can see the Cowboy groveling. Oh oh.
