If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME........LOGAN?????!!!!
LOGAN UPDATE! The doctors decided today that they wouldn't operate on our boy's hydrocele until he is completely off the oxygen, then they're going to wait for awhile to make sure he can breathe okay without it.
In other words, they want to make sure his lungs are developed enough to do without the oxygen.
Right now he's at 98%, so he doesn't have far to go.
Beth and Nana are unplugging his oxygen when he's awake and not eating.
When he's sleeping or eating, the oxygen is plugged back in.
They leave the canula in his nose most of the time because of the irritation it might cause taping and untaping it to his face.
Our boy weighs 10 pounds 11 ounces and he's 22 inches long!
We've come along way, folks!
Now I want to tell you something about our boy that is mind boggling:
His mommy holds him when he gets his shots, and he hates those shots!
For the rest of the day after his shots, he'll laugh at everyone else, but he won't even smile at his mommy!
LOL!
Is that boy smart, or what??
OKAY! I KNOW EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR LOGAN FIX!
PICTURES!!
Folks, I have to make myself stop when I'm posting these pictures.
I know it slows your browsers down so I left most of the new pictures off the thread.

WHOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!! Look at that boy!!!
Termite, you're changing so fast! Boy, you're starting to look like quite the young man in these pictures.
I'm SURE you know your Uncle TC is comin' soon...well, you just get lots and lots of rest, cuz I have the feeling you two men have a lot to talk about.
Termite, I love you. I love you SO much.

The day we came to the rig was the last time you've seen Logan, wasn't it? In my opinion, his looks have REALLY changed since then.
He started out cute....and well, he just keeps on keepin' on in that cute department!

He is so precious, I'm glad they are going to wait on that surgery. He doesn't seem to be in pain with it. He is in my prayers as always. Thanks for the fix, I needed to see that sweet face.

LOL, me too. I'm sitting here all by myself with (I'm sure) the goofiest big smile all over my face. What a beautiful big boy Logan is, it's just amazing seeing him grow so quickly.

Thanks for the pics. I'm really glad to hear they are delaying the surgery. It's also good to hear TTis getting bigger, his sat rate is up & that he is breathing for periods of time w/o oxygen. How many liters is he using when the oxygen is on? He really looks great!

Ok consider the fact that KV is getting over a rare for him lung infection brought on by the flu and not able to be out socializing with the other ill folks in the community, everyone has this crud.
First off Logan Dude you are sooo bright and beaming. Next time Mama takes you for shots have her turn you around so you can see the culprit!
Look at photo 1,2, and 3 TC caught a rainbow in the pics. See the rings on the pillow?
Congradulations on the step up and off the canula for periods of time!
With a smile like that one wonders what you are going to be into when you start walking! Heh Heh.
OK Remeber KV's canine is his working companion and he is reallly bored having to be homebound temporarily.

"The day we came to the rig was the last time you've seen Logan, wasn't it?" Yes, and, even though it seems like a lifetime ago, it was only about six weeks ago, I think.
The change in him since that time is really amazing!
My next project is to catch all those sounds he makes with my recorder and make a wave file to go on his Web page.
LOL!

LOL!
Termite's puppy is a little young for that dog biscuit trick, but it won't be long.
I'm glad that KV has his friend to pass the time with while he's getting over that lung stuff.
