If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

God hath not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain. But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labor, light for the way.
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.
-Author Unknown
May Logan's family know the strength, peace, and light of God as they accept His grace, help, compassion, and His wonderful love. May the medical professionals be guided by the hand of God and be filled with wisdom and discernment. And may Logan be strengthened by the love and caring of his early family and his Heavenly Father.

I've been praying all afternoon, since I saw the ping. I just couldn't post.
God will hold Logan in His hands, no matter what. His will be done.

Dear Gramma,
I will keep PRAYING for Logan!!!
Here's from my favorite Psalm, its even on my guitar strap!
Psalm 139: 13-16
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
HE sees him still... M0sby Sherry E.

From Logan's Grandma....to you.....
Nancy...... I'm totally speechless at the offer. Please extend my deepest appreciation to this kind soul. I am passing this on to Logan's Mommy as soon as she gets back from the hospital. I'm sure this will bring a smile to a very sad and scared young woman.
And to the Forum...
Thank you....... and please do tell all how much we are feeling the power of their continued prayers and good wishes. Hopefully with the treatment of
the transfusion today, our little miracle will hurdle this hump and be back on the road to smooth travel soon. It's so hard watching them fight to survive
like this. These babies have an amazing amount of "heart".

Praying for little Logan's complete recovery soon, and for Mommy too. Sending well and chubby 6-monther's greetings to Logan from little Oliver -- may Logan soon be where Oliver is now, learning to make raspberries and laughing when his thighs are tickled.
May G-d bless you for gathering up the prayers for Logan and his family. They make all the difference.

BG, here's a prayer one of my praying friends (DeNise) Emailed to me for Logan's grandma.
Dear Nana,
This little one has been chosen by God to be an overcomer!
I pray this second in the mighty name of Jesus that this little Lamb of God will have an awesome testimony and that hundreds of souls will be saved because of his life.
I pray that this miracle will touch hearts the world over.
I pray that this little one may be the next Billy Graham, Lord that Your Word will flow in abundance from his lips.
I thank you that his blood will move throughout his body as you have intended, that his heart beats as you have instructed,I pray that his body temperature would remain at normal, that every fiber of his being is made well and whole from You Father.
God, I ask for an extra portion of Grace and energy be imparted to Mom and Nana.
From the second they wake and walk in your Blessings all day until they fall asleep in your spiritual arms at night I pray that they would have in incredible peace that just astounds them. Take anything that is opposing Mom from spending time with Logan and make it well. Lord touch her this minute with your healing power. By your stripes she has already been healed, made well, no cold, no sinusitis, no illness at all in Jesus name. Really God, give them what they thought was impossible.
Each second that passes, I ask that you would strengthen Logan's little body. God, give his bones the strength that comes from you alone. Give his eyes the vision to see the beauty of his Mama's face that you have created, give his hands the grip of a warrior that he will continue to fight through this battle, give his heart the pace of one that wins marathons, give him the will to weather any storm that may come, Oh Lord...
bless him, bless him, bless him..... God hold his little frame in your awesome Abba Daddy arms as he rests. Bring about a restoration, a rejuvination in his body that astounds the doctors and nurses. God I pray that those that surround him and care for him will be saved because of the miracles they see. I pray that those that don't know you, will know you in Your fullest as Logan touches their hearts.
God, I pray that your Will would be done.
Lord, you know our hearts and desires, our wants and needs. But above all else we want Your Will to be done.
You're awesome God, you're so Holy. You're our All in All.
Be Logan's All in All too God.
He is precious, delicate, and irreplacable. Bless Him Lord, hold him God, minister to him.
God I thank you, I just thank you, for the incredible things we are about to see through this little life.
Now God, I seal this prayer... I pray that no sickness be transferred to any other person
and that we will see a chubby cheeked little man emerge from this storm. In the precious name of Jesus, our Risen Savior.
Amen
