If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.
He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”
On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers…….I bring you Logan!!!
Quick Logan update....Monday Morning..... Logan had a good night without the canual. Still a few desaps, but he is still without the canula as of early this morning. We're not sure when they will try to bottle feed him again because there is enough stress on him right now trying to breathe without so much assistance.
Logan has a special friend, Faith, who he and his family have been praying for. She has MS and isn't doing good right now. Can you please include her in your prayers...... Her daddy is worried about her just like we are Logan.
We really believe that the Freepers are the ones who continue, thru their prayers, to keep Logan from harms way..... We have all been shown the power and grace of God and the miracle that continues for Logan.
Our prayers of course include Ryan, may he continue to improve, Richard, that he be found safe and come back to his family and also our very special friend Faith. And the Freepers, one and all, who let Logan know with each and every post that they love him, and support him. Maybe that's why those beautiful baby smiles come to his face so easy :) And we thank God that little Sara Grace has gone home to the arms of her mommy and daddy. May she continue to do well.
Hi all,..... Just got another call from Beth this morning. "Piglet" weighs 4 lbs. 3.4 oz as of 8 a.m. and is 16 " long!!! His CBC tests are within the normal range, and he seems to breathing better since day break. Wonder why night time is always hard? Hmmmmmmmm.
Thanks be to God :) Could all of our prayers already be helping him with his lung capacity? Go Logan Go! At this rate, surely you'll be home by the end of October ;)

I like the name Piglet much better than Termite. Glad that was changed. Does he squeeeeeel like a real piglet let? :oD
