Prayer Request for A Tiny Baby (Update in post #12850)

If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.

Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.

He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.

I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”

On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.

Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

It's funny how different people are. When Logan pointed at something, or "grunted" to ask for something, we never would give him what he wanted because we were so intent on him speaking. This kid now has a vocabulary that is unbelievable!! LOL There are times we wish the little mouth would "hush" :)

Yes to the guineas. We have Wilma and Lefty. They've never layed, but hopefully this spring they will. They chase my car like the dogs because I'm the dinner plate to them. And they love Logan...although nothing can get close to them. When he's here, they hang out on a big oak bough that enables them to watch him in the living room. It's almost eery at times. Logan is a lover of all animals and especially hippos. Don't ask me why, but he's fascinated by them and wants to spend all of his time at their pen when he makes his weekly trip to the zoo. He likes they way they spin their tails!! Strange, lovable child!! LOL

I know that Miss V is the joy to y'all that Logan is to us. We are so blessed to have the love of these precious children. With the personality they are exhibiting at this age.... we'd better stay strong and on our toes for what's to come later!!

I know all your prayers are special, but I've been talking to Kim while she was driving home from the hospital. She is sooo down and sooo tited! They have put Emily on another kind of vent that hopefully will help her. They have even mentioned a trach. We sure need our Lord to step in and show His mighty power! (again)

King Vanity and I just got home from a 12 day hosp stay and will continue his wellness care here at home.

God granted KV Grace to continue his life here with me.

We had openly Christian/Catholic staff working with us around the clock and everyone worked in tandum.

I came to see if any recent pics of TT were around.
I don’t know if the family and TT have now retreated into a off line albeit busy world.

Would very much enjoy a smile from the young lad.
