Prayer Request for A Tiny Baby (Update in post #12850)

If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.

Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.

He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.

I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”

On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.

Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Prayers on the way past the roof now for blessings for this special child ...

I've known other preemies, God often has plans for them :-)

And prayers for wisdom, energy, and refreshment for Logan's family!

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that Your love for precious Logan is the same today as it was yesterday, and forever it will be. Thank You that Your love for him has been shared with hundreds and hundreds of unseen Prayer Warriors who have rejoiced with every answer to fervent prayer.

We again gather on Logan's behalf, Merciful Father, as our little one faces this crisis of allergic reaction ... work in him, O Lord, through the merciful touch of Your healing hand, that You would bring him through these coming days without further incident. Guard his breathing, that it not be compromised in any way ... restore his skin to a beautiful, healthy glow ... cause him to be comfortable in the midst of great discomfort. Keep him cheerful and content, that he might give comfort to his anxious family.

Give grace beyond measure to Logan's beloved Mom and Dad and Nana and BG as we relive those times of standing watch. Place in our hearts hymns of praise and thanksgiving for Your faithfulness ... let the Words of Your Promises fall fresh upon our hearts ... send forth the Comfort of Your Presence to his family ... may the prayers of those gathered here fall fresh upon each one. Guard them through the darkness of the night unto the light of day ... heal our little one, O Lord, in the Precious Name of Jesus we pray, Amen ...

Our Father, be merciful to us, hear our prayers for Logan, in Jesus' Powerful Name! Please make Logan all better again so that the gift of his life continues to minister grace to so many and so that Your praise resounds through the testimony of his continuing deliverance! How Thou hast moved and healed on his behalf! How we thank you for his life and strength! Please strengthen him and grant his family courage as long as this trial must last. We beg that relief and wellness will come swiftly from Thy Throne. Amen!

Our darling little twins were born 7 weeks early. They were incredibly small. Right at this minute, I can vouch for the development in their lung capacity!
