Prayer Request for A Tiny Baby (Update in post #12850)

If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.

Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.

He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.

I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”

On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.

Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

WOW -- how fabulous that you got to hug that little precious one, BG .. he's SO adorable .. and on his very own special life adventure every day, isn't he? I'm so glad Nana got to see TC and Jim Rob, group and you. What a lovely visit .. heartwarming to see. Thanks for the great pics and the stories, you two covert travelers .. ;). Logan is just the cat's meow... unbelievable how energetic and happy he seems all the time.

Thanks for the ping! Sounds like y'all had a party! Brad's swim in the cold water sounded pretty good considering the hot temps we've been having here! Loved the story about the french fries, BG. lol.
Hubby and I just got through reading the post and looking at the pics. He's as captivated as I am. We loved all of the pics, but the ice eating just tickled us, and it was especially cute to see Logan's head bent toward the big bucket of ice to get a piece as he was carrying it. :~)
Our daughter always loved ice too.

Yep, we're still here, Logan, and praying for you and Mommy, and Nana, and your whole family. Thanks for peeping in and showing us a close up of those gorgeous blue eyes! You are a cutie and we love you. God bless you too.

It was a wonderful, warm visit.... the best thing one can ask for is to be loved and surrounded by friends. We had both on this trip.

What an adorable little boy!!! He's the 2nd little boy I know of named Logan. One of my best friends had a baby just over a year ago and named him Logan.

Little Sistah, I am sooooo jealous that you got to hug and hold that little bit of heaven. Don't tell me that angels don't exist. That something special about that little one is that he is still shining with angel dust. It's all over him. He makes my heart sing just to look at his picture. You can see God's touch on him even in his pictures. What a beautiful little soul he is.

I'm so glad that Beth took him to see T.C. That is the best medicine T.C. could have. Love seeing the pictures of everyone. But, where is your picture? Camera shy are we?
