So Cal Freepers:  AFTER BBQ REPORT

Sunday, August 11 the So. Cal freepers (and special out of town visitors) had a BBQ/Pool Party in honor of Jim Robinson. Jim was in the LA area to attend the NFRA convention and present the Reagan Award to this years winner. Bob J and I attended the luncheon at the Reagan Library and Bob presented this year's winner with the award, the Young Americas Foundation. Saundra Duffy was also there with her husband (his FR name escapes me).


Saturday we prepared for the party.


On Sunday, Freepers started arriving here ready for some sun, fun, Gray Davis bashing, and swimming.  A sun-burned DoughtyOne, managed the grill and helped feed around 60 people. I will let the attendees come in and give their reports but I had a great time!  Thanks to everyone who brought food, wine, beer, chips, (we have more food here than when we started!)

I tried to come to this bash, but could not find a co-pilot...they wouldn't let me do the drive alone.

I would have concentrated my camera on the pool and the swimmers and divers...(U know me, I always take a thousand pics)

Many were swimming. I know I was in the pool, so was AnnaZ, BobJ, Dan, all the kids, Doughty One, LadyJenn and lots of others. We even had a mean game of volleyball.

Not many photos were taken as we were having TOO much fun!!!
