U.S. Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton signed hundreds of copies of her millionth-selling book in Buckhead Monday.
The book-signing, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. started late because Clinton arrived 30 minutes after the start time.
Her admirers, some who had waited in line for 15 hours, quickly forgave her tardiness as Clinton signed, chatted, and laughed with each person who handed her a book to sign.
The signing drew a line of hundreds of people, most of whom spilled out into the parking lot of the Barnes and Noble store.
The first two people in line, Delbra Washington and Denise Boese, arrived there at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. They said they will remember their few seconds with the senator all their lives.
"She shook my hand and she thanked me for coming and for being a supporter," said Washington, who drove to the book signing from West Palm Beach.
"I'm very excited about it because Sen. Clinton will do great things in the future," Boese told 11Alive's Jon Shirek.
Sen. Clinton signed two books per person and worked feverishly, signing one book every three seconds, according to Shirek.
Outside, seven or eight protesters waved signs which said Clinton did not tell the whole story of her years in public life.

Don't know who those two women are but it is the first day of school for all the Atlanta metro counties today. I hope these village idiots didn't leave their children on in order to stand in line!

I guess this is her goal in life. God only knows why in the world the people she represents are not standing up shouting "What and where is my Senator?"

The book-signing,started late because Clinton arrived 30 minutes after the start timeHeck, she could've skipped the entire book signing and they wouldn't have complained either.

It's OK, we'll get there when Bill comes through if he's brave enough to do a book signing tour. :)

She's just like Bill, she's always late!
Have The Royalty no concept of what it's like to keep the groupies waiting?
