In the land of a million items -- ranging from butter to beach balls to babushkas -- one purchase will become a cherished possession at Meijer next week.
U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., is to travel to Auburn Hills on Wednesday to sign copies of her book "Living History" for the first 500 customers.

Detroit-area FReepers, please take the ball and run with it. Organize a peaceful protest of Hillary on Wednesday, August 13, as she brings her million lies to "the land of a million items."
Having protested Hillary 4 times in the last two months here in the DC area, I can attest that FReeping Hillary is an exhilarating and memorable experience. Don't miss the opportunity.
If you need help, just ask.
Generally speaking, you can only protest on public property such as from the curb in a few feet. You can't block the sidewalk, but usually can stand or walk on a public sidewalk.
In most cities, a permit is only required if you have more than a certain number of people (I think that it is 25 in DC). Call the police station and talk to their desk officer about a lawful protest. Find out what the rules are (usually straightforward) and follow them.
FReep Hillary! You'll be glad that you did!

Make her day Detroit!
Great idea. At some of the DC area FReeps of Hillary, I told the Kool-Aide drinkers that they should ask Hillary where they can meet the woman on the cover.

The Antidote to Hillary's Book: How to Destroy a Village By Jason D. Fodeman (Accuracy In Media, June 5, 2003)
Jason D. Fodeman is the author of the book How to Destroy a Village: What the Clintons Taught a Seventeen Year Old
"No, I did not receive an eight million dollar advance. Actually I received a couple of books gratis and nominal consideration. Yet I am grateful to PublishAmerica for publishing my book, How to Destroy a Village: What the Clintons Taught a Seventeen Year Old, and affording me the opportunity to put into the public domain the antidote to the most pernicious epidemic since, ...well since William Jefferson Clinton ascended to the presidency and promptly disgraced his office. For me the motivation was not to side step some inconvenient ethical rules and grab as much cash as I could before taking office. My intent was to write a factually documented tome that laid out the case against the Clintons attack on mainstream values and to demonstrate why expanding their influence would be detrimental to America, particularly Americas youth. ..."

Good afternoon, Libertina! Yes we are -- couldn't you tell? An unpleasant duty but somebody's got to do it. (It was so great when I saw her looking directly at me in the hated devil's mask.. *\:-)
Ran into some of the Operation Support Our Troops people at the King County (WA) GOP Picnic yesterday, and gave them the URL for my site with all the Support Our Troops rally photo reports, to be passed on to the troops in Iraq and elsewhere. Along with, as it turns out, a demonstration for freedom for Iran and our fun FReep.
