U.S. Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton signed hundreds of copies of her millionth-selling book in Buckhead Monday.
The book-signing, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. started late because Clinton arrived 30 minutes after the start time.
Her admirers, some who had waited in line for 15 hours, quickly forgave her tardiness as Clinton signed, chatted, and laughed with each person who handed her a book to sign.
The signing drew a line of hundreds of people, most of whom spilled out into the parking lot of the Barnes and Noble store.
The first two people in line, Delbra Washington and Denise Boese, arrived there at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. They said they will remember their few seconds with the senator all their lives.
"She shook my hand and she thanked me for coming and for being a supporter," said Washington, who drove to the book signing from West Palm Beach.
"I'm very excited about it because Sen. Clinton will do great things in the future," Boese told 11Alive's Jon Shirek.
Sen. Clinton signed two books per person and worked feverishly, signing one book every three seconds, according to Shirek.
Outside, seven or eight protesters waved signs which said Clinton did not tell the whole story of her years in public life.

I cana't think of one mortal on this planet that I would wait in line for 15 hours to see. There are some that I might wait 15 minutes for though---LOL!

It's interesting: if it had been Star Wars fans waiting in line that long, the media would be portraying them as nerds and losers.

She had to sign there because it is one letter away from one of her "pet names" for Sinky

Signing her books in
a buck head, you stay? Some people will do anything to sell a book.
Well at least she was less likely to scare small children and animals.
Probably to promote a new book selling promotional idea - "Your bucks stop here!"

Hillary's book is now #50 on Amazon's Top 100 List.

I bet a simple "what has she ever done?" would stump them pretty badly.

Boy do I hate that phoney toothy wide open mouth laugh she always does.

Hah. SHe was 20 minutes late in Seattle (but at least, to her credit, she stayed 15 minutes late until the line ended).
And that photo... she must have practiced that hard! She was wearing that very smile in a photo from the Seattle stop.

You look at that first picture.
