A wonderfully devoted FReeper, LBGA, is in need of FReeper prayers. I spoke with her sister last evening and with LBGA, herself, this morning, and things are not looking good.
When first diagnosed with cancer last year, LBGA wished to keep her condition a secret. She fought her affliction with admirable strength and candor. She really felt she had it beaten this past March when .45MAN and I had the pleasure of attending two pro-America/Support the Troops rallies with her - one in Milledgeville, GA and the other in Atlanta. She fell ill again shortly after the Atlanta rally and began her uphill battle against this malicious enemy once again.
LBGA has since been told she is "terminal." She has accepted this pronouncement with the grace and dignity that only LBGA could exhibit. Those of you that know her will understand what I am trying to describe. LBGA is a remarkably strong, talented and witty person who is a role model that I lovingly look up to.
LBGA gave me permission to go public with her illness and ask for FReeper prayers to lift her up to God. We know the power of FReeper prayer. It has worked miracles in the past and we now pray for another miracle for our FReeper FRiend, LBGA.
Please keep her son Tyler and daughter Teale in your prayers.
Dear Merciful Father,
We come to You today to ask a favor on behalf of our friend LBGA. We ask You to please allow her complete healing of her cancer so that we, her friends and her family, may have her with us longer. We ask, too, that her son and daughter find strength and comfort in Your loving arms as they carry their trmendous burden. If it be Your Will, Dear Lord, we ask this of You as Your humble and loving servants.
This request comes in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Sincere thanks to you both for your prayers and remembrance.
prayer bump
Thanks to you both for bumping the thread and keeping Lynne's memory alive.
Prayers sent
God Bless yoiu angel LBGA
Prayers to her family, especially her children.
I remember my rally before the Iraq Battle began when you and .45man and LBGA came, and I had only joined FR 3+ months before that, and I was taken aback that people would come all the way from Atlanta to a rally in small Milledgeville. It was a great example of the spirit of Free Republic. I'm glad I got to meet her here on earth.
I hope y'all got registered in time to vote in FL!!
Prayers for LBGA complete recovery going out and prayers for strength for her family.
She will be in my prayers.
So sorry to hear this, I had already sent a prayer will now pray for her family in their time of sorrow. Just lost my dad two weeks ago to cancer so I know the pain of loss.
Thank you for remembering that (((((eyespysomething)))))
It was the following week at the Atlanta Rally that Lynne began to experience signs of her relapse.
We registered on September 17 and have not received our registration cards. We went to the Palm Beach County board of elections on Wednesday of this week because no one would answer the phones. There was a trmendous line there because of early voting and due to a head cold, I was not up for waiting.
A very nice volunteer told us to just show up at our precinct on Nov. 2 and we would find out then if we were in the computer system, or not. If we are not in the computer, I will pitch a fit the likes of which the loonie left has never seen. I *will* make the 6:00 news.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss ((((((MontanaBeth))))))
Prayers for your strength and healing. May you find comfort in knowing that your Dad is with our Father in His loving embrace for all of eternity.
She is not at all forgotten. A week or so ago she popped into my head, brought a little prayer. I know she is still watching over us.. I suspect she and Angelique and a host of other cherished FReepers are watching over us in this trying election season.. Thank you sweetie.. HUG
I remember.
I *know* you do ((((((Howlin))))))
(((((Carlo)))))
I feel the same way. I hope Lynne and Angelique and all of the other FReepers that have passed on have some influence over how things turn out Nov. 2.
Do you still keep in touch with her children?
I was thinking of her today. Miss her on the forum.
That is so sweet of you ((((((RBA)))))))
I keep in touch via email with Lynne's sister Susan, but not with her children. I found out from Susan that Lynne's daughter posted on FR. Her screen name is LBGAs Daughter. According to her profile page, she hasn't posted since October.
Lynne's sister's screen name is SRFL. She has never posted, although she has signed on occasionally to lurk.
Thank you for keeping Lynne's memory alive. I miss her, too. We used to live just 5 minutes from her, but we moved back to FL this past September.
