It is tricky...I wish they would change the format.
I am sure I have made the same mistake before...lol.

Check your source. The numbers to which you refer were TWO YEARS AGO!

The second date, that of 8/i refers to
AUGUST 2001 ; not August 1,2003.
Nice attempt at a smear, but you're dead wrong, in total error, and really need to learn how to read a chart/poll. ;^)
To: DrDeb; ohioWfan
Another thing---I have done polling and analysis before and you can always count on the undecided voters to be split with a slight advantage toward the incumbent, so that would add another 4 to 5 points to President Bush in these polls--which would automatically put him well above the 50% mark.

I'm surprised you asked. The source is one you yourself cite! See the FOX News/Opinion Dynamics Poll: In fact, it's the very first statistic reported. How could you have possibly missed it? Maybe FOX News keeps these numbers off the air because they want to spin things for Bush? I don't know; I don't have a TV.
I'm surprised you can't read better. It didn't give your numbers at all. You are obviously looking at August 2001 rather than the latest poll.

Excellent news DrDeb! I agree with your assessment of the Pew polling, they always poll the President low. By the way back in 1995 at this time Clinton was polling at 46% approval ratings and CNN actually said that wasn't bad! Can you imagine if Bush was polling at 46%!!

loonie leftwing wingnut! Excuse me?! I'm forever in the debt of your son, his comrades and in fact penpal regularly with a USMC corporal in Iraq. Whatever your issues with polls and ratings are, I was making a positive comment about the Pres. current number and hoping to see events as I listed take them higher. In no way did I bash the military or any other entity except perhaps the media. Your comment to me was way out of line. Perhaps your agenda is too. Prairie

I was making a broad statement and used the "you understood" as in..."You can never tell". I, in no way, meant that you, prairie, were a loonie LWN. Sorry to have been so sloppy!

First of all there was never any free fall inspite of every left wing mediot in America and the world trying to electronically lynch President Bush.
Their polling data shows that this:
2003 Aug 04-06 60 36 4
2003 Jul 25-27 58 38 4
2003 Jul 18-20 59 38 3
2003 Jul 07-09 62 34 4
2003 Jun 27-29 61 36 3
2003 Jun 12-15 63 33 4
2003 Jun 09-10 62 34 4
These professional hate GWers were able to swing 2% of the moderates with their total Yellowcake Scam media war. Now even that two % is coming back.
Morris is still a Clintoonian suckler and not to be trusted.
