Didn't the prosecutors in the O.J. case say the same thing?

Maybe this DA should shut his mouth and let the evidence stand for itself! I am so sick and tired of DA's wanting face time along with Defense Attorneys. If I were a judge in ANY case, I would gag the whole lot of attorneys on both sides!

I don't remember, but this blustering attitude on the part of this DA can't be a good thing when one is going up against such power and money.

It all changes once a defense lawyer cross examines the prosecution witnesses and puts on his own experts.

The prosecutors in the OJ case proved their case beyond a reasonable doubt. OJ basically had jury nullification of the evidence. If you are a Kobe fan, you better hope that the prosecutors don't present the same amount of evidence as was presented in the OJ case.

I wish the judge had not allowed TV cameras in the courtroom...the first thing I heard on turning FOX news on was an Eagle County guy saying what a great thing this has been for their economy and businesses! Maybe someone should wonder if the girl was bribed by the city leaders to set up Kobe in order to benefit the community! It's all sick, I tell you!

No, but it's a Colorado jury, not an LA jury. In any place in the US except LA or NYC, OJ would have likely been convicted.

At least the jury pool won't come from South Central...

That title would be better as "We'll K.O. Kobe, D.A.

I thought it was in ebonics for a minute!

"blustering attitude"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the article stated that the DA's comments were in "court papers," not a press-conference, and were intended to protect Bryant's right to a fair trial by not releasing prejudicial information prior to the trial. I don't think that is a "blustering attitude."

"The prosecutor in the Kobe Bryant rape case says he has slam-dunk evidence to prove the NBA superstar's guilt, it was revealed on the eve of the hoopster's first court appearance today."

Sounds like the prosecutor is angling for a settlement.

My favorite so far is:

He shoots,
He scores,
He dribbles on the floor!

I'm so sick and tired of hearing about this, just the mention of Kobe is enough for me to turn the channel - and not go back.

(FNC, are you reading this?)

"Didn't the prosecutors in the O.J. case say the same thing?"

What are the odds of having another inept judicial ringmaster like Judge Ito, and amateur lightweight prosecutors like Darden and Clark?
