Didn't the prosecutors in the O.J. case say the same thing?

Maybe this DA should shut his mouth and let the evidence stand for itself! I am so sick and tired of DA's wanting face time along with Defense Attorneys. If I were a judge in ANY case, I would gag the whole lot of attorneys on both sides!

That title would be better as "We'll K.O. Kobe, D.A.
I thought it was in ebonics for a minute!

"The prosecutor in the Kobe Bryant rape case says he has slam-dunk evidence to prove the NBA superstar's guilt, it was revealed on the eve of the hoopster's first court appearance today."Sounds like the prosecutor is angling for a settlement.

I'm so sick and tired of hearing about this, just the mention of Kobe is enough for me to turn the channel - and not go back.

Some more speculation: One would assume that any physical evidence would have been collected and noted at the time of the complaint. Things such as wounds, fluids, etc. don't "keep", if you know what I mean. So if that's the case, why was the D.A. at odds with the sheriff
days after the allegation, on whether or not to bring Bryant in?
So I think, if it's new evidence, it can hardly be bombshell material. New evidence most certainly is only anecdotal or circumstantial (I'm not saying circumstantial cannot be valid). But if it's old evidence, i.e. obtained at the time of the complaint, why would the D.A. let Bryant walk at the time?
And any comments about how this was a submission to the court and not at a presser reveal the naivete of the poster. Nothing the D.A. is submitting to the court is given without the full expectation of public disclosure.

His slam dunk evidence is evidence that this chick's backside got hit by Kobe's penis. That's all this guy probably has as hard evidence, and Kobe has already admitted to adultery-- which isn't a crime (otherwise Billy Jeff would have one more thing on his record of criminal accomplishments).

I am so sick of Kobe! Either he did it or he didn't, it's up to a jury to decide if ti comes to trial. Both he and his wife can go to h*ll for all I care.

The sheriff said to me, Sheriff Joe Hoy, 'We have some dynamite stuff . . . this is not a he said, she said.' I'm guessing that this dynamite stuff isn't going to be about the two 911 calls made from her house.
Why don't they release those? Calls from Kobe's house were available to the press.
Could it be more suicide attempts? That wouldn't be good for her credibility.

Okay, here's a run-down of key points from reports -- have I missed anything important?
Facts we know:
-Physical contact between Bryant and alleged victim. Bryant claims consensual adultery; accuser claims rape.
Likely true -- reported by multiple sources:
(Possibly prejudicial to accuser)
-Incident included some consensual sexual contact
-Accuser did not report story to police until next day
-Accuser attempted suicide twice in past several months
-Accuser auditioned for American Idol
(Possibly prejudicial to Bryant)
-Bryant stories to police about incident were inconsistent
-Accuser exhibited upset/stupor and disheveled appearance immediately afterward
-Accuser sustained some physical injuries
-Incident lasted only 20 minutes
-Two 911 calls were made from Bryant's house in past several months
Other reports
-Accuser attended party at which she discussed Bryant's manhood
-Other people in hotel heard commotion from Bryant's suite during incident

The prosecutor in the Kobe Bryant rape case says he has slam-dunk evidence Is that a direct quote or is the writer being cute? In the Scott Peterson case, the prosecutor or someone on their team said they had, and I do quote directly, "a slam-dunk case." Do all prosecutors watch basketball? Or what?

'We have some dynamite stuff . . . this is not a he said, she said.' He suggested there was someone else" who would be a prosecution witness,...I wonder if this means one of the bodyguards has a conscious and will provide eyewitness testimony.

Whenever a prosecutor has to begin trying the case before
he is at trial, his weak hand begins to show.
He is now campaigning for his weak evidence to stand up,
I am now leary of this whole scenario.
