Perverts in the Pulpit
Gulf1 ^ | 8/6/03 | Col. Robert L. Pappas, USMC (ret.)

Posted on 08/06/2003 12:40:15 AM PDT by ppaul

American Anglicans are poised on the precipice of spiritual irrelevance as they decide whether or not to ratify the election of an openly practicing sexual pervert to be a Bishop in that Organization. It does not matter that sexual pervert Robinson believes in God or believes that Jesus is God’s incarnate son. So does Satan—and if some liberals reading this are outraged and might want to know if I might be comparing Robinson to Satan, if you can’t stand the answer, don’t ask.

On Monday, August 4th, 2003, questions arose about Robinson’s suitability to be confirmed because of allegations that he had engaged in the inappropriate sexual conduct of “touching” and “pornography.” Here is a message to American Anglican leaders: Read carefully. If homosexual behavior is not inappropriate, nothing, repeat, nothing else is, and that includes prostitution, pedophilia, incest and bestiality! So get off the hypocritical, political appearance of doing what is right, because empty appearance is all that it is.

No matter how hard this writer has sought to understand and accept the arguments that animate the perverted sex movement, their arguments fail both logic and spiritual tests. Is that because the writer’s beliefs proscribe it and therefore blindly accept them without question? Hardly.

For over a decade this writer has examined every argument proffered by the sexual pervert movement in detail. In recent essays the writer has discussed some of their arguments, which are political on their face, not scientific, notwithstanding their claim of the latter. They make attempts at scientific and psychological substantiation of their perverted lifestyle, but none hold up to logical analysis or scientific scrutiny. Their latest, “it’s genetic” is utter nonsense. If it were genetic, there would be specific identifiable links to one parent or the other, or both. To date, despite ongoing careful scrutiny of the human genome, none has been identified, and in the writer’s opinion none will be; unless of course, they “cook the books,” which would come as no surprise. Logically, if it were genetic, the gene pool would constantly shrink and would have vanished in a generation or two; but like the oldest profession, homosexual behavior has been around a while.

No, homosexual conduct is not genetic; it is sin, that is, if they care. If American Anglican leaders consciously bring sin into leadership of its increasingly spiritually hollow organization, Satan will have won a victory although the American Anglican organization is already largely irrelevant spiritually. It may be politically correct to coddle sexual perverts, and in fact it is right love them as Christ loved and died for them just as He did for the rest of us. But in the end, impenitent sexually perverted behavior will produce only heartbreak, tragedy and finally, eternal death. How utterly tragic and how sad.

The following is one adherent’s feelings:

“Robert,

I cannot find the words to express my anger and frustration regarding the pending probability of the advancement of an openly homosexual cleric to the position of Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire.

Further, it is alleged that this person has, among other homosexual activity, been involved in pornography and provides links from his personal web site to pornographic sites - presumably containing pictures of male children and others engaged in lewd sex acts.

I have been baptized and confirmed member of the church since age eleven. The minister of our little church was a man! He was a four-year prisoner of the Japanese in Osaka during WW2 and I knew him as a man of character and decency and a minister upon whom I relied for appropriate spiritual and moral guidance.

What has become of my church? What have become of the things all Christians hold dear in His teachings? Are we to be beset by false teachers hiding in the cloth?

I have been concerned for years about many of the church's positions on social matters and derogatory conduct of some ministers. If this fraud, this faker, this quack is raised to the post for which he is being considered, I will leave the church and not look back.

Tim”

Succinctly put, the homosexual lifestyle and its underlying philosophy is morally and spiritually bankrupt, and for the American Anglican organization to even seriously consider, much less embrace it, signals that organization’s moral and spiritual bankruptcy. One can only pity and pray for those spiritual skeletons that are duped by Satan in the pulpit.

Pretty sad to say the least.

We have the same sort of thing happening here in Oz in the Uniting Church. The thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy....I don't expect he cares how long it takes.People may try and not rock the worldly boat (so to speak) but that kind of peace will be very short lived and it comes with a very heavy price.

Jesus is Lord.God bless

There has been a long and often close relationship between
the Anglican and Catholic Churches. In certain situations
there remains a mutual recognition of the validity of key
doctrines, liturgies, and practices. And the Catholic
Church continues to hold the faith and moral teachings as
taught by the Apostles.

I understand that there is also an Anglican Use liturgy
within the Catholic Church, wherein the Book of Common Prayer
(with minor updates) is used for the Mass. So there is no need
to lose the liturgy Anglicans are familiar with.
This Mass is valid for all Catholics as well.

Resources for those interested in the Catholic faith:

Catholic Answers

Offers free on-line library that examines all the major issues,
free on-line archive of over 1,500 hours of radio/audio material,
plus magazines, books, pamphlets, tracts, videos, and more.

Coming Home Network
www.chnetwork.org
Provides fellowship, encouragement and support for Protestant
pastors and laymen who are somewhere along the journey or
have already been received into the Catholic Church.

Dave Armstrong's monster site. Eclectic, fun, exhaustingly
detailed, personal, moving, and more.

I wonder whether God will consider the "majority vote" in favor of condoning the depravity he called an abomination.

In Jewish tradition, the ayes have it. With the caveat their decision cannot contradict the Torah.

The homosexual agenda is quite clear: destroy any of the institutions that provide the glue that holds together america's familes.

And now that pathway runs through the church - God have mercy on us - we are in the last days!

To approve of the lifestyle of a practicing homosexual let alone allow one to become a "pillar" of the church, is scripturally untenable. No attempt to rewrite the NT (or the OT, for that matter) in order to accommodate perversion will suffice to the believer. When Jesus talked of loving your fellow man, I don't think anal intercourse was what he had in mind.

The homosexual takeover of religion can easily be stopped if the people in the church congregations in this country decide to withhold their money and support.

The rise of perverts in the churches around this nation can be directly laid at the doorstep of the people who attend churches and allowed them to advance in the church hierarchy without question. More attention should be paid to those congregations who allowed homosexuals to advance in the churches in the first place.
