As I recall Rita was outside the Court standing on the steps paging through the ruling & trying to understand what it meant. She made a quick pronouncement that it looks good for Gore....then someone in the studio said that it needed to be studied by an attorney to understand it completely.

FOX got a legal expert on shortly after....I think it was a judge who stated that it was actually in Bush's favor.....regarding equal protection and FL not having a uniform standard regarding recount in all 65 counties.

I really lost respect for Rita a couple of weeks ago when she stated that 3 of Kobe Bryant's accusers friends stated something in the interview that they absolutely did not say. She tried her damndest to get them to say it, and after the girls were off camera Rita reported that the young ladies stated this and then Geraldo interviewed Rita on his show where she continued to spread disinformation.

So from now on I will be skeptical of anything Rita reports.
