German paper proudly announces that our France, Germany and Mexico abstained on Liberia vote
Posted on 08/02/2003 9:09:18 AM PDT by americanbychoice1
Our Friends Germany, France and Mexico abstained in the UN security councel on a vote to send Peace keepers to Liberia. They cite the US refusal to join the world court. They don't like the fact that if we go in, no US person could be subjected to the socialist dominated world court. Well, I hope that we never join this silly body. Since it is mainly US forces that fight and give their lives in all regions of the world, wouldn't it stand to reason that the majority of defendants would be American? The pacifist Germans, Mexicans and Frogs surely don't have anything to worry about. A court would have to make decisions based on existing law, therefore, what world law would be the foundation for their decision? I surely don't remember a law like that. Would they make it up as they go along? Let's continue our boycott and also make life miserable for Mexico as well, they may be our neighbors, but not our friends. This is just my opinion, and I could be wrong.

I am all for making Mexico miserable, and we won't have to travel far to do it. They're all living here, now, aren't they? Seriously, though, we have the power in our hands to do serious economic damage to these miserable leeches and ingrates, because their stability is never more than tenuous. And they are dependent on us in every way. The only words that should pass from the lips of our diplomats to Mexican "diplomats" are, "Mexico, who's yer Daddy?"

Boycott Mexican products, seal the southern border, deport all ILLEGAL immigrants, and Mexico dies.

Somebody really needs to point out to Vicente Fox.
1 France and Germany are on the other side of the world...Mexico is not.
2 Paybacks a bi*ch.

Our "best friend", the left-wing traitor keeps stabbing us in the back OVER and OVER. Then he whines that the U.S. hasn't bowed to his illegal alien anmesty demands after all his "good neighbor" efforts.
I am struck by the absurbity of it all.

Mexico, who's yer Daddy?Better make that Sugar Daddy. I've come to the conclusion the Mexicans are a lot smarter than we are, just look at all the free handouts they're getting and not giving anything but a hearty raspberry back.

Our Friends Germany, France and Mexico abstained in the UN security councel on a vote to send Peace keepers to Liberia. The Iraq thing could have been passed off as a fluke, but now the spiteful 4 (didn't Canada abstain as well?) have proven beyond any shaddow of a doubt where their loyalties lay. Seal the borders, round up all the illegal aliens and detain them in New Mexico until we have time to deport them. Fire all the civilians working on our bases in Germany. And continue to ignore France.

Did we want to go into Liberia? I think the idiot democrats wanted this badly but personally, I don't think it's a good idea for us to get involved there. If the Germans, French and Mexicans voted against it or abstained, good... Whatever it takes to keep us out.

Do you avocate another RWanda? If memory serves me well, it was the French who vetoed that one too. Over 1 million people were slaughtered. Don't come back with " it's their country"?
Personally, I would love for the US to stay out of all conflicts, only attack those who are about to attack us and leave the rest to the EU who can talk them to death.

Don't come back with " it's their country"? It's their country.
Problems?
You want to scrape together a mercenary force and go in- have at it. Good luck and more power to you.
Don't twist my words or try to inject meaning into them where it doesn't exist. You're saying that by not wanting US troops to intervene, I am advocating a slaughter there. This is very dishonest of you. I don't advocate any such thing. The ones advocating it are the ones doing the slaughtering. It is simply not our place to intervene. Period. The Democrat Party is looking for votes. Vote dem next November and you can send our troops all over Africa if that's what you want- because that's exactly what they want to do. Until then- cry me a river. I've got a quarter if you need it.
