[history]
Go ahead, ya smirkin' Texas lug, stumble around all scrunched and blank eyed and pseudo-manly, shove this country into a bloody unwinnable war and lie about all the reasons why, gouge the economy and ruin the schools and embarrass the nation every single day as you mangle grammar and meaning and truth. It doesn't really matter.

Tell this despicable writer to go read the White House Report on Iraq -- excerpts were posted on the Countdown thread linked below:
COUNTDOWN (458 DAYS) TO VICTORY '04 -- Operation Iraqi Freedom -- A White House Special Report (MUST READ)
After he thoroughly reads this Report on Iraq compiled from news sources around the world, I want him to tell his readers just how bad President Bush was when he removed a brutal dictator and his regime! And just how bad he because he wants Americans to be safe from dictators like Saddam -- maybe this writer should have gone to Iraq and see what it was like to live under a ruthless dictator where an article like this would have had him tortued and shot.
Have absolutely zero tolerance for scum writers like this and less use for the SF Chronicle that gives him a forum to spew his venom!

I was going to suggest a chill pill for Mr. Morford who has worked himself into a lather. But I like your Rx better.

Does this qualify as hate speech?
In the Liberal mind, this is an example of tolerance. You should see what he would write if he wern't such a funloving bag of "awareness and orgasm and breath."
This pustule absolutely hates all that is normal. No, strike that, he feels qualified to erase everything that has been normal for two thousand years, and insist that his own self-indulgent hendonism is the new standard for normal. The absolute hatered he feels for the Red, flyover country is dripping in this article. He despises normal, mom and pop apple pie, and instead demands proudly that he is a dope-smoking, pornography eating god, who of course knows better than you and I (and God, for that matter) what is good.
What was the Scripture reference? Something about in the Last Days, there would be people who took pride in the things of which they ought to be ashamed?

I think he is mad that Dubya isn't for homosexual marriage. This is a rant, Dubya is a substitute for his heterosexual father. Morford, "Daddy, accept me, wah wah!"
Same old bs from the San Fran Chronicle!

Go ahead, toss those useless $400 rebate checks to the depressed and jobless populace as some sort of bogus humanitarian gesture as you quietly force an increase in their property taxes to pay for your record-breaking deficit brought on by the tax cut no one wants. Ha. You are so cute. Gee, Mark, that's pretty funny. Last time I checked, I paid my property taxes to my COUNTY government, not to the Feds. I guess I shouldn't confuse your addled self with FACTS though, should I?

Another classic. So rarely do leftists dare to put down their true thoughts on paper. Morford is providing us an invaluable service - if he were a hired saboteur he couldn't do a better job of making the Left look bad. I think this one is my favorite:
Go ahead, toss those useless $400 rebate checks to the depressed and jobless populace as some sort of bogus humanitarian gesture as you quietly force an increase in their property taxes to pay for your record-breaking deficit brought on by the tax cut no one wants.
An answer to the eternal question: How many non-sequiturs can a writer stuff into one sentence? LOL!
To: presidio9
geez what a sad and horrible thing it must be to go through life filled with this kind of hate
All you need is love, remember?
This venom does not deserve critique, but what the heck: It contains no suggestions, only bile... how helpful to life is that?

Maybe this gives you the illusion of power and control. Maybe this makes you feel all phallic and handsome and virile as if your toupee isn't rank and askew and your slacks wrinkled and your children in rehab and your sexless wife popping Zoloft like M&MsGood Lord, what an awful column! Its so hateful, its funny. He must have read accounts of Iraqis who are happy we are there. Or maybe his 401k, like mine, is up about 20% since last quarter. Perhaps its because he has been turned down as a news reader on the Bravo channel. But whatever it is, he really need to take a pill; preferably 10mgs of thorazine.

I think that he is trying to make the obtuse argument that if it weren't for Bush's tyrannical withholding of Federal dollars from San Francisco, Morford's good and noble friends on the Board of Supervisors wouldn't have to raise property taxes. The Feds are supposed to subsidize everything.
To: presidio9
Good grief. Remember when there was a huge flap over William Safire merely calling Hillary a "pathological liar"? For years we've heard about the Clinton-haters. I can't think of any anti-Clinton piece in ANY major media outlet that comes close to this level of hatred. Hell, Ann Coulter is much nicer to the Clintons than Morford is to Bush et al.
