[history]
Go ahead, ya smirkin' Texas lug, stumble around all scrunched and blank eyed and pseudo-manly, shove this country into a bloody unwinnable war and lie about all the reasons why, gouge the economy and ruin the schools and embarrass the nation every single day as you mangle grammar and meaning and truth. It doesn't really matter.

brought on by the tax cut no one wants. What kind of idiot would refuse a tax cut? Which, BTW, will be eaten up by the states.

If my mom was alive to see me write a column like Mr.Morford, she would break down my door and shreek her banshee temper in my ear until I wrote an apology to each person who might have read it.
Paging Mommy Morford....

In all seriousness, is anyones sexual orientation really an issue...In today's political climate, yes. The left uses the homosexuals as another of its victim groups in need of special treatment by the law. Therefore, their attitudes and political positions are of importance, not just as sterile thought, but in context.

Good point. But in a world of pure motives and honest debate based on facts, such issues as sexuality, race, gender, and religion would render many of the agenda's of the left and right ineffective. Divide and conquer I guess.

The line of nobody's cashing their tax rebate checks at the bank yesterday was hugh. Had I known that nobody wanted those tax rebates, I would have told the teller to give me all the cash.
I guess on-line banking has skewed Mr.Morford's connect with the public. He needs to get out more often.

LOL....wow...I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the liberals. This whole article was a "you can't hurt me" act of verbal masturbation and self-comfort. I think the libs are cracking under the strain of trying to reconcile themselves to the fact of the success and popularity of the Bush presidency. Did you notice that the author starts off by imagining that Bush is deliberately trying to come in and get to him?? This signifies two things: one, intense narcissism, everything is about me, and two, intense pain. This guy is in so much distress he has to write this ridiculous article as a sort of self-medication.

Denial. The crazier the left gets, the more hysterical nonsense that they write, the more I know that they are losing. The hysteria meter just went right off scale.

There is so much more going on than you know. There is so much deeper understanding and wider knowledge and higher winking and you can't touch any of it. Do you know this? You need to know this.
Funny, Ms. Morford... I was thinking the same thing.
Only, it is you saddam-ite LIEberals that are in for a rude awakening, as the US is TIRED of you bleating sheep and butt-smugglers and all the others of your ilk!
Just wait till the Millitary copme home...see if your crap plays to THEM!

Hillarious.
Live a life traditionally considered downright disgusting then turn around and call W names and attack his wife and kids. REAL mature from the homosexual left.

Markie, I really think you should know that here at FR, we read your columns for the same reason some people visit the monkey house at the zoo. That's right. So we can see a creature that resembles a little man screech, howl, gibber, swing to and fro, spank his m...himself, and throw poo. Not necessarily edifying, but definitely entertaining.

This rumpian is an excellent barometer for all the things that are going right and/or are gaining ground (holding ground). He summarizes a list of areas where continually applied pressure for change in a direction that will generate even higher levels of hate and angst within Mr. Morford is needed.
He is clenched up so tight that it would take a 50 horsepower winch to pull dental floss from between his cheeks.
