[history]
Sen. John Edwards, North Carolina Democrat and 2004 presidential hopeful, is four months delinquent in paying the property taxes on his Georgetown mansion and owes the cash-strapped District more than $11,000, city records show.
Mr. Edwards is worth somewhere between $12 million and $30 million after a successful career as a personal injury lawyer, according to his financial disclosure forms. He bought the eight-bedroom, 6,672-square-foot home in the tony neighborhood for $3.8 million in September.

Maybe Edwards should get himself a lawyer?
Oh wait... nevermind.

"As of 3:30 p.m. yesterday, Mr. Edwards owed $11,092.46 with interest and penalties, according to the city's tax collection office... Mr. Edwards' delinquency came during a year in which the city faced a $323 million budget shortfall.
The District was forced to cut funding for public education and a wide array of city services.
Shame on you, John! You are depriving the children of D.C. of a good education!
Won't you PLEASE pay your taxes... for the children?!?
LMAO!!

One by one, the Clinton machine will pick off each of the nine candidates. Like ducks on a pond. The path will then be clear...

There seems to be a discrepancy here....Have you ever paid a bill, then been hounded for weeks while they got their accounting processing in order? That could be the case here.

Maybe someone should check to see whether Johnny's paid the taxes on all his other real estate.

THE NEW YORK SLIMESALL THE NEWS THAT FITS OUR AGENDA
As I recall, Dinky Davey did not even bother file a federal income tax return for three (3) count 'em, three (3) years at all
He also falsely reported his income while he was mayor of New York City and was getting rent controlled subsized housing rates on his large luxury apartment for a few hundred a month when he should have been paying over $2800 a month
This for a multi millionaire who played tennis while minorities rioted and killed innocent citizens because Dinky wanted to let them vent

The above pic is from the website of the guy who is trying to get his picture taken with all the Dem candidates, who he then proceeds to trash on his site (www.ninedwarfs.com). Pretty funny stuff. Dunno why, but his pic with Edwards makes me think of the George Thorogood song:
I was a rebel from the day I left school,
grew my hair long and broke all the rules
I'd sit and listen to my records all day,
with big ambitions of where I could play
My parents taught me what life was about,
so I grew up the type they warned me about
They said my friends were just an unruly mob,
and I should get a haircut and get a real job
Get a haircut and get a real job,
clean your act up and don't be a slob
Get it together like your big brother Bob,
why don't you get a haircut and get a real job
To: Howlin
I love it to. There is a reason why you don't run for president your first 6 years in the Senate. It is b/c you are a rookie, and you make rookie mistakes.

Hey, thanks for telling us about that web site! It is really funny, and the guy is a pretty good political reporter. He does have some of the most amazingly ugly shirts I have ever seen, however. HA!
I particularly like the "shrunken heads on the mantle." LOL!

"Anything that calls attention to his wealth will not be helpful to him." Which explains why a compliant liberal media is so reluctant to mention wealth when it comes to Democrats.
