Attendees included several Democrats who said they were supporting their first Republican for governor.
Attracting Dem voters who will be voting for their first GOP for gov, focusing on education and especially reading, and choosing to have Gov Jeb Bush speak about education (as Gov Bush has devoted a LOT of attention to that topic), tells me this GOP candidate - Fletcher - is smart, and a winner. Good luck! :)

You know, GW notwithstanding, I think the one GOP officeholder GOP candidates most want to be seen with at fundraisers and on the campaign trail is: FL Gov Jeb Bush. And, that's a good move for them, because Gov Bush not only attracts the GOP base, but he has wide appeal to other voters.
Consequently, I think GOP candidates interested in winning over other voters are very smart to seek out Gov Bush. Also, it seems to me most voters, nationwide, recall that Gov Bush won in a landslide in 2002, in a state that was just about tied in 2000. So, IMO, Gov Bush is a real draw because people are curious about his appeal to the voters of this state.

It was very good to have Governor Bush here. I was unfortunately unable to go this event myself, but I have been hearing that it couldn't have gone better.
I enjoyed listening to Bush take a swipe at Chandler in a sound bite on the radio this morning.

LOL...Gov Bush, with all his experience, has repeatedly proved himself to be quite the seasoned campaigner. Glad everything went well! :)
