Mark Penn was the Clintons pers. pollster while they were in the whitehouse. This crap is filtered right through Bill and Hill.

The Republican Party has an inherently solid foundation for its principles and developes its positions from that foundation. The Democrat Party goes for the cheap and sleazy route by scrounging groups of voters by developing "positions" that will attract them - they are politically backwards. What this caused is an inherently conflicting set of principles as its foundation.
Democrats "stand for the children" but fight to the death to protect pedophiles and molesters from prosecution.
They "stand for the worker" but bend over backwards to strangle companies with red tape and regulation.
They "support equality" but force reverse discrimination down America's throat.
This list can go on forever...

Exactly. Rush has even been talking about how some of this may be an attempt to lower the guards of republicans...making us think Bush has a cake-walk. Comfort breeds apathy.

And even if one existed (a centrist Demoncrat), he'd never make it through the primary. Look at how the DUh boys treat someone like Lieberman. I'd say they're in a pickle.

Already, said DLC founder Al From, the party is reviving an unwelcome image as the pre-Clinton party of "tax-and-spend" big governmentDon't worry, Dems, the Republicans are giving you a run for your money on this one- or, should I say, a run with taxpayer's money.

""The Democratic Party is in danger of being taken over by the far left," said Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., chairman of the DLC. In related news, Sen Bayh, said that Iraq was in danger of being invaded by the US, The Soviet Union could fall, and the US might put a man on the moon for the first time ever.

you can see from the demographics alluded to in this poll: the sector keeping the Rs in the majority are people who work in the private sector white collar middle and upper middle class. Dilute that demographic with the offshoring of jobs that is going on now, and Hillary walks into the presidency in 2008.

Not those among us among the Super Rich. Just when I thought my two giraffes would start paying off, too.
