This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:

"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.

Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.

You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."

I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

Nonsense, there were more than a few Biology Scientists who refuted the genetic link to homosexuality. In fact my human gentics class found very little likelyhood of a gentic link. (hence knowledge of Xq26) The genetic argument is generally the perview of psychology departments not hard science departments.

Those who refuse to admit the probability that genetics is UNLIKELY to have a link to homsexual behavior are only ignorant in their own right.

It is a recruiting ploy, if change is impossible it is more likely the recruits will stay. Especially if they have no choice. An adult elephant can be held with a string if the conditioning occurs early enough.

Hey CheezyD, I agree with you. There seems to be something seriously wrong with these posters who see homosexuality everywhere and can't stand it. All I can think of is that old saying, "Methinks Thou Dost Protest Too Much!"

BTW, no cable TV at my house, but did see "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" on NBC last week and found it hilarious. Of course, I'm one of those people who's used to being around gays as I live in L.A. and work with a few of them, have a few more as neighbors (GREAT neighbors, in fact), and see them in malls, theaters, etc.

You don't have to embrace the lifestyle, the vast majority of gays are not recruiting or molesting anymore than any other group.

I sent a similar letter and also sent one to DirecTV letting them know that if this type of programming permeates their line-up, I'll be terminating my contract.

I was referring to how they appeared, moved physically, spoke and gestured while on the show. Not how they look all 'gayed-up' for some cheesy publicity photo.

This picture actually makes him look like some old used-up whore or like some broad with bad BigHair on a Fifties sitcom. On video, the impression is much more normal. If he looked like this on the show, he'd be a prime candidate for the new makeover show, "Straight Eye For The Queer Guy", debuting this fall on Pat Robertson's charismania network.

In terms of character development, the grooming guy is the most masculine and normal. The fashion lady guy is the swishiest. The others are vanilla gay, probably could use some hormonal help.

BTW, you know this show must be completely scripted. Probably, the Fab Five are just stereotypes played by sodomite actors that would otherwise never get any work at all. No reason to believe that any of the Five actually know much more than anyone else about fashion, cooking, decoration, grooming. None of them seem to have worked in their supposed field of expertise professionally. The humor is cliche camp, the only novelty is in delivering campy come-on lines and gay trashtalk to normal men who would, in real life, flee from any man who made such remarks in their presence.
