The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us this Friday, August 1, as we freep Her Heinous, Hillary! at her luncheon appearance before a meeting of the so-called American Constitution Society at the Capitol Hilton in downtown Washington, D.C.
The crookedest lawyer in America will be speaking to the greatest collection of crooked lawyers since her husband's White House counsel's office disbanded on January 20, 2001.
Mrs. Clinton, it should be remembered, was the first First Lady to claim spousal privilege--the marital equivalent of taking the 5th Amendment--when she invoked the privilege in the Filegate case. She will be introduced by her husband's former Deputy White House Counsel, Cheryl Mills.
Ms. Mills, a token Black woman in that office who shamelessly played the race card at President Clinton's impeachment trial, once testified under oath that she never took notes while working in the White House Counsel's office. One wonders if she'll use notes to introduce her former boss and partner in crime, Senator Clinton.
When: Friday, August 1 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. (speech scheduled for noon.)
Where: The sidewalk in front of the Capitol Hilton, 1001 16th Street, NW (at K Street.)
This is a permitted demonstration. As usual, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
