THE CANTEEN SPORTS CORNER SPECIAL

Do you love cars, motorcycles, and music? Today is your thread. We wanted to share with our troops a little reminder of home. As they are defending our freedom, we wanted to bring them some really cool choices for transportation. We've also asked some familiar names to share their favorite cars, motorcycles, and music. We'll share that with you a little further down. As usual, we provide links on the left and right hand side. The regular sports links are on the right. Click on the images and hyperlinks. A special thank you to MoJo's 8 year old son, Bobby. If you like the cars and motorcycles on this thread, you can thank him. He thought his mommy didn't have a clue and decided to help her out. Thank you, Bobby! (Be sure to check out his favorite car the Dodge Viper. It is the third picture at the top!!)

Bobby!

What an awesome job you did helping with this thread! I know your mom and dad will be very proud of you.

My husband was a pilot in the Navy in Viet Nam, and we had a baby girl at the time. I understand that you must miss your dad when he's gone, but he is doing the most important job in the world...he's protecting all of us.

I'm so proud of the job your dad is doing. Would you please tell him "Thank You" from me? I want him to know that, even though I don't know him personally, I pray for him every day.

Your dad is a real hero.

Your FRiend,

DC2K

Great to see you! And, your memory serves you well.

The daughter graduated in June! (yeah!) So, I'll have some more time for FR, until Sept. Then she's off to OSU...

she's been accepted into their Doctorate of Pharmacy program.

So it's...FOUR MORE YEARS!

While I'm extremely proud of her, I really don't know what to make of this.;o)

BTW, I'm proud of your service in the Coast Guard Auxilary! Ya' done good!;o)
