oWf - thank you so much for posting the Dose, I'm still praying for your Eric.

Regarding these pix, hoow tragic this is. Charlton Heston used to be the most glorious, tall, strapping beautiful man. For anyone of you young folks out there who have never seen "Ben-Hur", I urge you to rent it. He was magnificent - his acting was incredible (he won the Best Actor Oscar that year), and he was absolutely gorgeous - brilliant blue eyes, curly brown hair, strong jaw, and a raw sexuality that turned this then 14-year-old teenaged girl into a puddle of mush.

This makes me so sad...

What a bittersweet set of pictures showing Heston and the President. May God give Heston peace during this difficult golden time of his life. <><

Heston appears to have aged 10 years since his last appearance a few months ago. How sad.

Oh, how terribly sad. I haven't seen Charlton Heston since his announcement. I applaud him for making this public appearance. Seeing that blank look reminds me of my grandfather before he died. He suffered from Alzheimers as well. He always remembered me/knew my name, even when he began to go "down hill." Then, one day, he didn't know my name anymore. And from there on out he was just kind of there. I feel for the Heston family. I am so glad that no sleazeball from the media has ever gotten any pictures of President Reagan in the last few years. I don't think I could bear seeing it. That blank look- just like the picture of President Reagan on the cover of Newsweek when he announced his "long goodbye." How tragic.

Oh, my, he's really gone down hill, hasn't he. That is sad. I have tears in my eyes just looking at him and remembering how vital he used to be. This disease is horrific.
