Actually, it's those darn bullets...
I'll cut him a bit of slack today. If he said this under ordinary circumstances I'd be more concerned.
To: Timesink
Thank you, Mr. Bloomberg.
On the count of three, all members of Mayor Bloomberg's security detail are hereby ordered to take their guns and shove them up their @sses.
Or Bloomberg's. It's all up to you, really.
To: Timesink
Bloomberg went on to say, "And about that damn rain..it makes things wet!"

Yeah, it's really unfortunate that the City Hall shooter wasn't the only armed person in the building. If he were, he'd still be alive.

Maybe...they want to kill people...and have discovered that guns are among the items that will accomplish this task.
If this is true...when you take people's guns away...they will find some other item to use to kill people.

Sorry, I don't cut him the same slack. He's the mayor, he has to be responsible for what he says at a public podium ESPECIALLY during times of crisis. Being shaken up doesn't excuse that kind of stupid and dangerous comment.
To: Timesink
It's even worse. According to
NRO's blog, the idiot mayor was responding to a question about why
the late Councilman Davis (who was a retired cop) was armed.
To: Timesink
Guns don't kill people. Massive tissue trauma kills people.
