This is not bashing Free Republic.com, nor it is bashing members here. On the contrary, this place is one of the best sites for news, information and opinions on the web.

But, to be honest, sticking around here and chatting amongst ourselves is just preaching to the choir. We need to go on the offensive.

I've been going to the Metallica.com message boards and raising hell in what I call, "Hostile Territory". I haven't turned many to our side, but I have educated many. It's really a challenge. Others have probably been doing this for a while now.

I think we need to do more of this. We should find any site with a forum that has any threads that say things like, "Bush Sucks," or, "America imperialist killers," or the like. I'm starting this thread to try and make a place that we FReepers can use to gather and consolidate our sources and facts. Also we can use it as a place to bring up arguments that are just so silly and childish, that they should be read and laughed at by others.

I, for one, am sick of being on the defensive all the time. So, I crush all the lies with facts gathered on the web and all the conservative books I own. If more of us did the same, we'd be an even stronger force to be reckoned with..

Remember the rules of the other forums, debate with dignity and logic. Expect to be banned from these sites sometimes.

Oh my gosh ,I have been doing the same thing for about a year now at my liberal homeschool web site. I have actually had some people change their minds about topics and left winged organizations. I get them all to runaway and give up sooner or later. It is fun, but I think important as well.

I keep saying it is going to take hundreds of people to do a million small things to get out of this lunacy we are in now.

I have had much inspirition from Ann Coulter. She knows her facts, sticks to them and eventually gets her point accross.

My favorite quotes to one line are "it's not so much fun when the rabbit has the gun" and a simple "the sky is not falling" Usually rile those liberals up.

This is a pet project of mine. When I see the chance come up I go for it full steam ahead!

This is a perfect thread for me.

A good website that is full of interesting information and links on stuff is http://www.straightdope.com but they tend to operate in a vacuum when it comes to conservative thought. Expect shrill ad hominems for pointing out the obvious, however.

My little "Habit" is to save the unanswered questions I ask the librats on my hard drive. The librats on some forums like to erase their posts when they get stumped or caught in a lie. Nothing like a little copy-paste to send them in a spin!

Oh, hell! There's all sorts at the main "Arena" I go to at the Metallica.com "General forum." I'm outnumbered, but the opposition doesn't have any sense of reality; the debates are somewhat funny.

I do have allies there as well. I've made their day since my arrival there.

I'd guess the ratio of libs to conservatives is about 7 to 1....And I still make some go running away.

The trick is to stay focused; don't say that you never said something because the opposition can always dig up what you said in the archives. Also, remain calm and don't violate forum rules to get kicked out. If you get the boot right away, give up and get on another site; there's no hope in thar!

This is funny. I am on a loop of NC homeschholers adn some raging liberal discovered this post and actually linked this site, this thread and all of my personal information to the group. They are now in a tizzy, and becomming hysterical. It is a real witch hunt. I have been called every name in the book, all the while being told I am "mean" and "intolerant" and some want me removed form the loop. Over what? Defending Bill Bennet and saying I am for school chioce. Then the hysteria began. They think my original refrence to a liberal homeschholing website is about them, although it wan't... it should have been though after what I have been through today. They have pulled out every typical crazy thing liberals do when caught in lies and confronted with the truth. Thank God they are so predictable. I am glad these types of people are losing power. It can no tbe fast enough for me.

Really?? Well, then I'm sure that the raging liberals wouldn't mind trying to take me on at the Metallica forum if they feel so adamant about it. It's pretty strongly in favor of the liberal viewpoint over there and they really could use a hand coming after me. After all, that other forum isn't all about the band Metallica. They have some pretty heated political discussions on some of the threads. There's little chance of getting kicked out at The Metallica General Forum as long as the rules are not broken on the boards.
